Shhh don't tell them that, they're too late to join now, and it's a Sunday afterall! :p

Noone is too late. To get into top 25 you need 2,000 comments.

exactly yes, and then they'll bump me out of it, shhhh! B)

I'm sure, I will stay in top 25, the biggest question is if I will stay in top10 :)

Effectively, you are in position 9 for now since dustin himself doesn't count. But, still, would be better to still be a bit more active if you want to be in top 10, imo.

I will try to stay in top 10, but it takes only two no lifer members to push me out of here :)

3 more days left. Truth is, there's still enough time for anyone to take over anyone else.

I wouldn't say "anyone". I feel your place is pretty safe... :)

The first place is still upfor grabs. With 4892 minutes remaining, there is a possibility of 19568 comments by a single user assuming they aren't banned.

Still possible, with reduced chances of ban, if there's atleast one person more to keep the convo going.

Might be possible with a single person too. Has too churn out deeply technical non-spammy non-automated comments, 4 per minute.

Sch comments that too 4 per minute would automatically be looked at as "automated" by the "higher ups."

But even with 3 comments per minute that would be 12k till the end... 20 second per comment, possible. If you can stay at the PC for the whole 72 hours and are not alone active :)

  • @noob404 said: Sch comments that too 4 per minute would automatically be looked at as "automated" by the "higher ups."

That is mostly because people believe it is not humanly possible to reach those numbers. But with enough determination anything is possible but none would believe.

I was in top 15 before @ehab snatched it away from me :open_mouth:

Well, you need only 42 more comments, so please, tell us what you are doing right now :)

Was trying out palworld with friends. It's not polished, but sure is fun!

I think I have missed something... time to google the Palworld...

Yea, I think it launched just a week back but has been breaking records, the hype is real.

I looked into trailer, the game looks really time demanding... Sadly, this resource does not exist for me... :( I will better stay on the nonograms for the moments I have 5 minutes free :)

If someone does try that, good luck. But, coming from someone, who tried to do this 10-12 hours a day doing this for almost 2 weeks (iirc), be wary of the burnout.

It's like similar to Pokemon from what I've heard. So, someone did a Pokemon mod. Nintendo came to know of it and has been censoring posts talking about those mods.

Yah. Never tried any Minecraft-like games or liked them for a long time. But, Palworld seems to be a good monetisation opportunity for anyone planning to create servers.

  • BTW, Ed, this is the minimum specs:-

    Processor: i5-3570K 3.4 GHz 4 Core
    Memory: 16 GB RAM
    Graphics: GeForce GTX 1050 (2GB)
    DirectX: Version 11
    Network: Broadband Internet connection
    Storage: 40 GB available space
Additional Notes: Internet connection required for multiplayer. SSD required.

If you are concerned about the 16GB RAM, some member on another thread had mentioned that, it was only utilising 6GB for the moment. Moreover, ig, you can always refund the purchase on Steam if it doesn't work properly on your PC.

2023 was insane for me, I've spent all my time preping for certs (OCI Architect, Azure Admin, Azure Architect), so I had to postpone all the projects. Only this weekend I started working on an interesting project, I had started 2 years ago... I have a 3d printer, and am printing full Europe, country by country, with terrain 50 times exagerated. Looks insane, but needs an insine amount of time... :)

To elaborate a bit though... I am rather old school, and oppose 'spammy' type of approaches and marketing hypes that are more disruptive than useful... I feel there are better and more ethical ways to set out the rules to avoid the spammy nature (or likelihood) of things, IF that would be the intention to do so...

Oh maybe I should also add, that I'm as excited to win prizes and be lucky in giveaways... for that I'm humbly grateful... and say thanks to whoever provides them!

I just feel, there are better ways and worse ways, ethically, of doing it... and I appreciate the better ways.

On doze machines I settled for mIRC after originally using pircH... and later got 16-bit mIRC to run quite fine under WINE in RedHat... back in the late 90's
