But even with 3 comments per minute that would be 12k till the end... 20 second per comment, possible. If you can stay at the PC for the whole 72 hours and are not alone active
That is mostly because people believe it is not humanly possible to reach those numbers. But with enough determination anything is possible but none would believe.
I looked into trailer, the game looks really time demanding... Sadly, this resource does not exist for me...
I will better stay on the nonograms for the moments I have 5 minutes free
If someone does try that, good luck. But, coming from someone, who tried to do this 10-12 hours a day doing this for almost 2 weeks (iirc), be wary of the burnout.
It's like similar to Pokemon from what I've heard. So, someone did a Pokemon mod. Nintendo came to know of it and has been censoring posts talking about those mods.
Pokemon, Lineage, some kind of factories... Interesting combination
Yah. Never tried any Minecraft-like games or liked them for a long time. But, Palworld seems to be a good monetisation opportunity for anyone planning to create servers.
@ehab
pants
So you will try the opportunity?
BTW, Ed, this is the minimum specs:-
If you are concerned about the 16GB RAM, some member on another thread had mentioned that, it was only utilising 6GB for the moment. Moreover, ig, you can always refund the purchase on Steam if it doesn't work properly on your PC.
The server costs for such a project alone would be more than what I am worth. So, unfortunately, no.
No, he said, no pants
I'm rather disappointed about the ban on @FrankZ since I'm convinced he didn't use any automation and did it all by hand... and that he in his way tried to show the flaws in the approach and system, without intending to break any rules...
even though I was in stealth mode most of the time, I still checked the lists and posts basically daily...
Well, my laptop would barely be over the limit. It has GTX 1060
RAM is not a concern, I've extended to 32GB. There is one requirement not listed here... time
Thats what I am lacking
What are the requirements for the server?
Ah I see. Yes, that is a requirement which often overlooked.
Same here. I am mostly scrolling through, if there are not 100 new pages in some hours, I even read most of the posts
Think the same here. The admins just needed to ban some folks and they chose the top few from the list. Perhaps they were using Ed's tracker too.
They might have, but they also have access to DB, which has much better stats I would imagine
The site though is reachable by everyone
2023 was insane for me, I've spent all my time preping for certs (OCI Architect, Azure Admin, Azure Architect), so I had to postpone all the projects. Only this weekend I started working on an interesting project, I had started 2 years ago... I have a 3d printer, and am printing full Europe, country by country, with terrain 50 times exagerated. Looks insane, but needs an insine amount of time...
To elaborate a bit though... I am rather old school, and oppose 'spammy' type of approaches and marketing hypes that are more disruptive than useful... I feel there are better and more ethical ways to set out the rules to avoid the spammy nature (or likelihood) of things, IF that would be the intention to do so...
How old school are you? Did you sit in IRC usinh BirltchX?
It looks like it can cause memory leak issues. Hope the official fix it as soon as possible
Oh maybe I should also add, that I'm as excited to win prizes and be lucky in giveaways... for that I'm humbly grateful... and say thanks to whoever provides them!
I just feel, there are better ways and worse ways, ethically, of doing it... and I appreciate the better ways.
IF.
That's the entire point.
RACKNERD does not have a large memory server and cannot run the game. You can only pay for a dedicated server.
Its not about running the game, its about running the server
Lol! Actually YES!
I still remember the day I first tried BitchX and realised it's so much more colourful and easier to use than ircII
Good old times... Even then there were a lot of bots...
On doze machines I settled for mIRC after originally using pircH... and later got 16-bit mIRC to run quite fine under WINE in RedHat... back in the late 90's
