  • @crunchbits said: Yeah, anything in stock now is on nodes that didn't exist while any previous orders were up. We do expose the node names on the VF panel too, just to confirm and check.

    Awesome and found it.

Meanwhile the newly provisioned VPS is inaccessible from the Internet. VNC works fine, and I could reset the password from VF. No idea if it is relavant to an additional IPv4 address, which always does some trick maybe.
I'm just a bit curious about why this happens, though the VPS will be idling anyway.

Not sure which is yours, but took a quick glance and saw something from the admin side (and this may have been your VM). Bug on software side we'll have to report, but should be squared away for you now (hit restart on the panel to restart the VM and be sure).

    After February 1st:

crunchbits can you clarify how can we get one of the Allentown yearlies?

    • Order now in Spokane and wait for the chance to request a migration
    • Wait until the last batch of stock and buy directly in the desired location

Or neither of those are guaranteed, and only previously existing yearlies can be migrated?

Certainly, to clarify: any existing customer can migrate one-time, if they choose. We’ll give ample opportunity and notice. You’re an existing customer if you own a yearly before we stop racking more by Feb 1. At that point, we will allow transfers and will rack additional hardware even if only one transfer happens.

You will be guaranteed a chance to move within a reasonable timeframe (a few weeks, multiple notices—we can’t leave the offer open forever, but we’ll honor it if unoccupied space exists).

  • Possible to go from yearly to triennially?

  • Wow, that’s a lot of chicken!

  • Ordered
Glad to get a VPS in Spokane too.

Luckily none in stock, because I've been waiting for an official Allentown PA opening.

Probably will end up picking one up tomorrow when you restock, because 15 data-centers within 10 miles of myself mostly Secaucus is getting old.

Don't have the heart to spam the thread b/c I hate that rubbish, but here's to CB in 2024!
