Never understood those captcha - do they want to me to select only lights (3 colors light source) or the whole "traffic lights" structure - cables, pole, arm etc?

    Yes.

    Yes.

Yeah, that is my answer too. I selected it randomly - sometimes only color lights, sometimes whole traffic lights structure and I've passed that captcha every time. Makes no freaking sense to me, but I guess I am a human after all!

If you are correct 100% of the time, you are a robot.

Ok just kidding. The actual science is much much more than that. Yes it is a good way for them to label the data, but the actual data includes all your mouse movement, the time it takes for you to travel between them, the movement path, your browsing/search history, browser fingerprinting, etc etc.

  • @crunchbits I am not sure if this has been answered before, what happens if the monthly allocated bandwidth for the yearly VPS is exceeded? Will VPS be suspended?

    No, it's throttled to 5Mbps.

If you're coming up on it, open a ticket. One-off event, newfound success with your project, or maybe a new migration? Probably not a big deal for us to help you out. Just ask for Rafal in the tickets he seems to be nicest about it ;)

All right, no problem. Thanks for the information! It's just a general question as I can't seem to find the information in the TOS or the knowledgebase.

Uncertain, but unlikely. If we did, it would cost a bit more (per TB) and I'd have to consider some sort of much stricter CPU usage policy which I don't want to do. I know we're leaving a chunk of the market out (sub 2TB) but it keeps the nodes looking more like a comfy cigar lounge rather than a Bangladeshi train.

We did (and still are) experimenting with 1TB Dedicated disk SSDs, but those are not budget-targeted.
