Looking for Netcup alternative VDS.
I have used netcup root server RS 1000 G9.5 which have AMD EPYC™ 7702, 8 GB DDR4 RAM (ECC), 4 dedicated cores, 160 GB SSD and unlimited BW at 11.76€ per month.
I am looking for netcup alternative at such performance vds at same or lower price. Netcup only problem is montly contract. otherways netcup is excellent. VDS purpose is personal encoding only.

Monthly contract is a problem? Buy from netcup.DE for 12 months contract, 6 months billing, 9,81€ per month then...
// But that comes with the usual german contracts - need to cancel in advance, debt collectors incoming if you not pay, etc etc.
Other than that I know wishosting @exception0x876 likes to throw EU VDSes (at least unlimited turbo CPUs) from time to time... so ping?
the usual @PHP_Friends, Avoro and @crunchbits
Those are not VDS.
Just VPS with unrestricted cpu usage.
Totally different things, in my opinion
@crunchbits = 4 core is $38.00/mo
both are expensive then netcup
4 Cores (Epyc)
8 GB DDR4 ECC RAM
160 GB NVMe-SSD
10 GBit/s shared
Prepaid
9 EUR per month incl. 19 % VAT (https://avoro.eu/en/rootserver/)
I don't know if they're counting "vCPU" (threads) or not, but our 4 core is: 4 cores / 8 threads (actual CPU topology).
order link please. do you have monthly contract like netcup?
That is from theirs second brand https://avoro.eu/en/rootserver/
Thanks @JabJab @PHP_Friends got one from avoro.eu
instant setup impressed me. here is yabs.
curl -sL yabs.sh | bash

out of curiosity - you disabled that on purpose or it's year 2024 (fuck those few days) and there is no IPv6 in PHP-Friends o.O?
i didn't checked yet because i dont need actually. maybe i need to manually make it on from control panel.
Of course we have full IPv6 support for both of our labels
Everyone selling VDS means unrestricted CPU VPS
I would be very interested in any providers where cores are pinned to a particular VM. If someone hasn't already, this could be tested by L1 cache timing
There is also another definition of VDS where an entire box is virtualised e.g. https://oplink.net/vds/, but this is rare and of dubious value to the customer
For me it means the CPU allocation is guaranteed
Pinned or not the CPU performance should not vary much over time.
No overselling of ressources.
Unrestricted CPU access would not mean that the ressources are guaranteed. Because CPU performance could vary depending on the use of other users.
VDS = guaranteed ressources for most providers as far I know
hetzner
They unapproved my account while signup. So no chance. Anyways avoro.eu woking excellent for me till now
For me, this GB6 Single Core is pretty low compared with other servers that I can get here from LET.
which VDS you got from here at such price? i want one.

We do..
I have had services where cores were pinned to my VPS and not rest shared with any other VPS on the server node
@mxmla Server-Factory
@darkimmortal
Make sure you read the entire contract agreement completely in detail BEFORE signing up for the service with any provider.
Yes can vouch for Avoro network speed is impressive and also there instant setup for Win22 RDP is awesome.
OMG, i didnt notich there windows license is included.In this case, thats lowest windows vps i have ever seen.
I guess its bring your own key. They give you evaluation version.
https://massgrave.dev/
@PHP_Friends is your windows VDS come with key or not?
No, these are Evaluation machines
32 GB RAM
4 CPU Core
600 GB SSD
