Looking for Netcup alternative VDS.

I have used netcup root server RS 1000 G9.5 which have AMD EPYC™ 7702, 8 GB DDR4 RAM (ECC), 4 dedicated cores, 160 GB SSD and unlimited BW at 11.76€ per month.
I am looking for netcup alternative at such performance vds at same or lower price. Netcup only problem is montly contract. otherways netcup is excellent. VDS purpose is personal encoding only.

Monthly contract is a problem? Buy from netcup.DE for 12 months contract, 6 months billing, 9,81€ per month then...

// But that comes with the usual german contracts - need to cancel in advance, debt collectors incoming if you not pay, etc etc.

  • Other than that I know wishosting @exception0x876 likes to throw EU VDSes (at least unlimited turbo CPUs) from time to time... so ping? :D

I don't know if they're counting "vCPU" (threads) or not, but our 4 core is: 4 cores / 8 threads (actual CPU topology).

Everyone selling VDS means unrestricted CPU VPS

I would be very interested in any providers where cores are pinned to a particular VM. If someone hasn't already, this could be tested by L1 cache timing

There is also another definition of VDS where an entire box is virtualised e.g. https://oplink.net/vds/, but this is rare and of dubious value to the customer

For me it means the CPU allocation is guaranteed
Pinned or not the CPU performance should not vary much over time.
    No overselling of ressources.

Unrestricted CPU access would not mean that the ressources are guaranteed. Because CPU performance could vary depending on the use of other users.

VDS = guaranteed ressources for most providers as far I know
