Well, since it does not look like we are going to have a giveaway quite yet, it's back to the mysteries. scratch that. It's a new page so we should have a new subject.
Thinking ...........
WELCOME TO PAGE 47 - THE PAGE OF COINCIDENCES IN HISTORY !!!
Will do. Pretty busy rn. Once it's dealt with, I will share a few facts
Thanks a lot for the headsup!
The twins named Jim
In 1979, a set of twins was reunited at age 39. They had been separated at four-weeks-old, and for 37 years, hardly knew of each other’s existence. So when they met, there were a few surprises: both boys had been named Jim by their adoptive parents, both loved math and carpentry, and both pursued careers in security. Even eerier, they each married women named Linda, divorced, and remarried women named Betty, writes People. As for their kid’s names? James Allan and James Alan. It was a fascinating reunion, to say the least.
welcome page 47
the number 47 might just seem like a number, but for some people, it may carry special meaning or have its own significance in their life experiences
All the Eleanor Rigbys
In 1957, John Lennon and Paul McCartney met at a party at St. Peter’s Church in Woolton. It was a fateful meeting—one that no doubt changed the course of musical history—but that’s not the coincidence here. Just yards away from their meeting place was the grave of Eleanor Rigby. Nine years later, McCartney wrote the song “Eleanor Rigby.” He claimed he named the character after the actress Eleanor Bron, and a store in Bristol named Rigby & Evens Ltd. Later, he admitted that the grave may have played a subliminal part in his song’s namesake, writes the BBC. Regardless, the deed to Ms. Rigby’s grave was auctioned off but failed to sell. Poor thing, nobody went to her funeral, either.
In the scientific world, the number 47 sometimes appears as an example of the human tendency to attribute symbolic meaning to numbers, even though they are actually just simple mathematical representations
Stephen Hawking’s death
As Stephen Hawking himself would tell you, time is relative. But that doesn’t quite explain why his death occurred on what many consider a fairly significant day: Einstein’s 139th birthday, Galileo’s 300th death-day, and Pi Day (March 14, when the date reads 3.14).
In some cultures, the number 47 can serve as a marker of luck or mystery, representing hopes and possibilities hidden behind every journey in life
Don’t let her aboard
As a ship stewardess, you’re bound to see some strange sites on the high seas. But to experience two of the most infamous sinkings and one collision? Well, that’s just bad luck. Fortunately for Violet Jessop, she survived all three. Jessop was aboard the RMS Titanic when it sunk in 1912 (she was aboard lifeboat 16 and handed a baby to look after), as well as its sister ship, the HMHS Britannic, when it sunk in 1916 (her lifeboat was nearly sucked under the boat’s propellers, but she jumped out and survived). She was also aboard the third of the sister ships, the RMBS Olympic, when it collided with a British warship in 1911 (there were no fatalities in this one). Jessop died at 83 of congestive heart failure in 1971.
the number 47, with all its uniqueness, teaches us that sometimes beauty and meaning can be found in unexpected places, enriching the journey of life with unforeseen details
Mark Twain’s meteoric birthday
Every 76 years, Halley’s comet soars past Earth, where it’s visible to the naked eye. Mark Twain was born on one year of its passing, in 1835. By 1909, he predicted he’d die the next year, when the comet passed again. ”The Almighty has said, no doubt, ‘Now here are these two unaccountable freaks; they came in together, they must go out together,” the New York Times quotes him as saying. His prediction was correct. The writer died one day after the comet’s closest approach in 1910.
for some, the number 47 is just a combination of two random digits, but for those who believe in the magic of life, it becomes a number that holds unexpected secrets and luck
The sandwich that shaped the modern world
While you might have learned that World War I was caused by the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, your history teacher could have left out the fact that the assassination was made possible because the assassins stopped for a sandwich. You see, their original attempt to kill the archduke failed miserably: their bomb hit the car behind Ferdinand’s, and he escaped the scene unscathed. Obviously, the assassins were angry about this, and one of them stopped to get a sandwich at a nearby cafe. Meanwhile, the archduke dashed off in his car, happy to be alive. Unfortunately, his driver made a wrong turn, and passed right by the cafe where his attacker had stopped for a bite to eat. The man saw him, shot the archduke and his wife, and sent the world into a tailspin. The assassination is said to have been the launch point for World War I.
the number 47, with its mystery, is like a blank page waiting to be filled with unique life stories, serving as a reminder that every number can be a new chapter in the colorful journey of life
A meteor hit the Commette family's home.
National Geographic reports that your odds of being killed by a meteor are 1 in 1,600,000. So the odds would seem infinitesimally small that a meteor—which had been flying through space for more than four-and-a-half billion years without hitting a target—would hit the home of a family with the last name "Commette." According to Time, in a bizarre case of cosmic synchronicity, that is exactly what happened to one family in France. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and the Commettes are now the proud owners of their own extremely rare extra-terrestrial rock.
Anthony Hopkins happened upon a signed copy of the book he was searching for in a train station.
In the early 1970s, Anthony Hopkins was slated to play Kostya in a film adaptation of The Girl from Petrovka. To prepare for the role, he set out to read the book, but was unable to find a copy in any book store despite a rigorous search. Then, as internet legend has it, while sitting in a London Tube station, he noticed a copy of that very book that someone had left behind. When he opened it, he found that the book had also been signed by its author, George Feifer.

John Wilkes Booth's brother saved Abraham Lincoln's son from death.
John Wilkes Booth and Abraham Lincoln reportedly had a coincidental family connection long before Booth shot Lincoln on that fateful day in April in 1865. Booth's brother, Edwin, was a somewhat famous stage actor who ardently supported the Union during the Civil War. While in a train station in New Jersey, Lincoln's son, Robert Todd Lincoln, leaned up against a stopped train, nearly falling onto the tracks as it started up again. Edwin Booth grabbed him by the collar and saved him just in time. The younger Lincoln recognized his hero and wrote about the incident, but it wasn't until years later that Booth found out who he had saved.

And that same son of Lincoln's witnessed three presidential assassinations
While it would be rare to be present for the death of any president, Robert Todd Lincoln was in some way present for not one, not two, but three presidential assassinations. Though he wasn't there at the theater during his father's fateful shooting, he was rushed to his deathbed and sat by his side until the elder Lincoln passed away. Later, he was an eye-witness to the killing of President James A. Garfield. Finally, in 1901, Lincoln was nearby in Buffalo, New York, at the invitation of President William McKinley, when the president was fatally shot.
