That is not true for all, i think you misunderstood.
Hmm, I will disappoint you on this, no basement, no house colo, no guard dog, no cave, no bats. Just a lame DC at RDS-RCS site in oraddea, 2 largest in Romania, finshed newly in 2019.
most of them, and the other who provide decent service, they just resellers from ovh/hetzner so on....
@cold
care to elaborate, cause now you made me curios, who is a reseller?? Since we are new here, care to shed a light?
Let's keep HAZi and Ihost out of this, we know they host their stuff.
A few lines above your comment I wrote the reasons why people choose other services, read - please.
why keep'm out, we were talking about romanian providers
Maybe it's a culture thing? There are times when a provider has to be cold about things but so far it's been cold for most things. With that being said host_c seems to not follow that and seems to care from what I am reading.
The price seems reasonable, the audience target based on the votes show exactly what this niche audience is. Other providers can do cheaper but with smaller storage. Very difficult to cover all the needs of everyone.
@risharde THX on the input
Not all people are the same, so not all companies are the same.
We actually delayed entering LET/LEB with 1 year since @cociu made the exit at that time, heh, think about it, same City as base of operations, one exiting, one entering. Fuck yeah, that would have been a nice and smooth entrance....
In the past I worked as IT Admin at mostly sales companies, and 1 thing I learned over the years is, there is a customer for any type of product, so Florin here has a chance to accomplish he's project.
I do not know how Florin got he's network and automatons set up, how much he did himself or not, but he's only bottleneck is the home-host and wan connection, other than that, I actually liked he's setup, and yes Florin, before you or anyone alse asks, yes we bought a VPS from you, from Calin, and from other providers, it is called research
If you ask me, the community is so large here, that anyone has a change to sell what they want, in the way they want it. Now, expanding that is another thing.
EDIT:
For those that think RO HOST is SHIT/DMCA ignore and scams:
Try not to judge all hosting companies from a specific country based on 2 young guys that do hosting on LET, and one @cociu exiting a few years back.
Except Romania is this location, biggest ISP's there such as Limehost/Voxility(notorious criminal host that's been sued countless times and is mentioned on US Govt "bulletproof" hosting list), Orange Romania(bulletproof), M247(forward, bulletproof), and so on.
Romania is also a go to choice for pedophile site operators, ISP's there don't seem to care about CP.
Romania is not a serious location and will never be. Ask RCS & RDS guys about the time when their interconnection to AMS was down because one of their employees stole copper cables.
OK, so, now all are doomed because a few did some shit? - I like the metric you have
Romania is on the last places of the shit list "what companies did scams top 10 in what countries since 2000".
EDIT:
If I google this, it might not even enter the top 10 list.
"Some", I'm talking about biggest isp's in your country mate. Voxility and M247 are operators of the only datacenters that can be called datacenter and keep uptime.
Ah fuck, I got it the other way arround, my bad
EDIT:
Well see how M247 will hold up to LET fans..... I will give you a ping when we do the launch in 2024.
Hm, wondering, how's borta? What is he doing?
Mann, let's leave this thread to florin, even if it is a general discussion. It is he's. Sry mate.
I am afraid of the DDOS hound if I post 2 more here.....
We were talking about the Ryzen systems he want's to deploy, so let's continue with that.
Thank you all so much for the feedback!
The vote is still open, but the main conclusion is that I will stay away from this investment a while. Even if today I contracted another 1Gbps guaranteed, I will deposit my salaries in BTC and after I exit (in 4-8 months) I will be able to know both the limits of my infrastructure (let's not forget that I didn't have any interruption of the supply of electricity and the UPS is only solved in theory) and if it really worth or not to buy at least one such equipment.
Slightly offtopic:
Just today I had a debate with some friends and they came to the question "you earn more and more at work but you always have no money. What did you do with the money?"
I realized that all my money that I could have saved is invested in our little VPS factory that even if it won't return my 20000 EUR very soon, it taught me enough things to I sit straight at interviews, reaching from my first job in IT in February 2022 to now having 3 different employers with 6 salary increases, currently earning 150% more than at my first job.
Therefore, I consider that everything I do for you helps me to keep up to date with the latest technologies and to learn more and more things in my area of interest.
If I keep it like this, with a transfer and a half I will be able to buy 30 servers with Ryzen 7950X, I understood that someone is renting them here in the community.
Too bad I collected these savings in 3 months
Firstly I thought you bought real crypto, but now it seems you just use Binance stablecoin deposit
I'll use them to get BTC but I'm waiting for a slightly lower price
Good luck, i like what you doing but it seems you not benefiting from it due to location are not attractive and also you price is higher then other competitors with proper DC and good location with good links to all worlds,
Even if there is a market for high performance servers but they will not come to you unless they have tried your service and know you.
You should start low and climb up slowly.
In terms of marketing at the beginning you need to sell even if you cover the cost only and by the time you grow.
Do not underestimate the $15/$20 if you multiply it on 1000 or 2000.
Better than selling 10 for $60 that will not cover even the server power consumption.
You never stop to radiate stupidity.
With your current setup you will never sell any vps server at the professional level.
Keep lying to yourself but you are already bankrupt and deadpooled. It's just a mather of time.
@everyone if you want a serious Romanian vps provider you will not find it on LET. They are busy offering good services in real data centers that are not guarded my dogs.
Thanks for the opinion, but if it mattered to me, I would have asked you for it.
You are funny, seriously, you are really funny! We're talking here about the ISPs giving me free internet and it's up to them if/how much bandwidth they give me, not how much I'm willing to pay monthly, mandatory for 2 years.
You would be surprised if you knew how many clients came organically, but whatever you say, you're right.
You caught me! And because you caught me, I am attaching the chart that confirms that since we are no longer in the datacenter, this business is on the way to bankruptcy.

Same opinion as above, if someone was curious about your opinion, I think they were asking you personally.
You realiste that this is a public forum and I don't need your approval to state my opinions.
regardless of whether Hazi succeeds, Florin is going places in management with all those graphs in every argument.
I told you that you're not allowed to throw this rubbish that you call "my opinion" in my thread where the topic was completely different.
If you like to create debates about me, you are free to create your own thread about it and discuss there as much as you want.
When you have better arguments than your personal opinion, I think it's worth using, especially since if you don't prove the opposite, the hate can damage your reputation.
And to answer before the question "which reputation?" - it's that of a simple and modest man who exceeds his limits day by day, looking for both personal and common good, choosing to be probably the most transparent provider in this community.
Hey guys, stop picking on Romanian hosting, we've got Turkish ones now
It's impossible, there's something in AndreiGhesi's blood that doesn't give him peace. Being a Romanian, it's more pleasant to f**k your compatriots than a foreigner
Exit scam has been announced.
Exit from BTC
