I asked a simple enough question, why is i get a vanilla answer instead of you just answering what i asked. I knew all the details you said already, i ask because i don't want to end up with a big bill on Jan 1st thinking the credit covered it till the 24th December.

Plus i asked this same question on the ovhcloud site under support days ago and no answer either.

    Re-Hello @Tingull
Your Public cloud Free credits are valid for 30 days and to a max of 400 euros, so your consumption post this date or post the free credits (which ever come first) will be billed to your payment method.
If you have spawn instances for an entire month (instead of hourly in order to benefit from 50% off the hourly rate) then the full amount should already be deducted from your free credits.
    Hope this clarifies

For the black Friday I wanted to get those 1$ servers for a year, but you didn't have crypto payments and I couldn't. Is there a way you can help me get it?

    $1 man, 100 cents!

    So????

  • Is the RISE deal recurring until we terminate the server? What happens after the 24 months commitment?

Got to say this is the lowest I've seen ever for a dedicated 6c12t server at Singapore datacentre. It's so good that our company migrated from our $1,200/month EC2 servers to 2 OVH Rise-1.

If not stated othervise (E.G. VPS VLE offers), offer usualy valid until service cancelation at OVH. Or valid until the next price hike:D but I hoppe that with the reduced energy prices it's probability is small in the next months.

Hi @Netsoft , promotional price is valid as long as you keep your server at the same commitment period :)

Means after 24 months, it will be renewed for another 24 months at the same price?

Yes indeed and (that will be what happens by default - no action needed from your side).
You can always change your commitment in your control panel after the first committed period, but you will loose the promotional discount you got.

  • Thanks. Unlikely will change unless OVH offers better promo on the next BF deals
