On VPS LE 1, you advertise a 5€ normal price with 27% discount on 2 years
    5x24 = 120€
    120€ - 27% = 87,6€
But on billing screen, it shows 96,29€

Seeing how you're quoting euros, did you forget to account for VAT?

    Hello @PineappleM ,

The VPS-LE offers for black friday are 15% OFF for one month only.
When you take a 24-month contract, there is an all-time discount of 15%.
so in reality you get 27% off the first month and then 15% off for the remaining 23 months (and a little extra discount if you pay upfront).
It is confusing on the website and I will request a fix asap.

On the "classic" VPS range you do get 50% for 24-months (VPS value, comfort, essential and elite).

    Thanked by 1lebidule

    Your CPU frequency is limited.

Not limited, but idling. It would go up under load. E.g. when running stress --cpu 12 😉

  • Can new Ks-Le-2 users be installed free of charge?

  • Does your full range of dedicated servers support IPMI? If not, which operating systems are supported?
    No ipv6 I take?

IPMI available on SYS and higher ranges if I know well. SYS available, I tested.
Supported a wide range of Linux OSSs Debian, Ubuntu, RedHat based distros.
OVH has a very useful recovery system. If no IPMI available (E.G. on Kimsufi), it is possible to install an OS with it. I always install Debian with Debootstrap with this method. I was confused with my SYS-LE-1 because Debian did not boot and I realised after two installation that it boots from UEFI and I need to install the OS for EFI via GPT scheme.
OVH provides IPv6, usual a /64 range. Kimsufi has a /128 advertised, however, the entire /64 usable where customer got IP. So it is possible to run VPSs with IPv6 addresses on your server:D

Is that only working for first offer? Cause i cant buy a 2nd with same discount.

    Hi,

I am one of your customers that is being forced to migrate to a new VPS plan at the end of the year.

If I don't migrate, then my services will be terminated.

How do I migrate to these discounted plans? When I click on 'Migrate to the new range', I am presented with the normal price for Value and Essentials VPS plans.

I do not wish to sign up for a VPS from scratch or I will lose my IP address.

    Hello @FiLThYFreaK ,
The migration option will only give you the standard monthly pricing indeed. Once you have migrated you can choose to commit for 12 or even 24months, but this will be offered at the usual discount rate (respectively 8 and 15% off). The Black Friday offers are only for new VPS (= new IP indeed).

Cool, no reason to stay with you guys then. Ciao.

  • When is my server provisioned :(

in terms of cpu speed, it's about the same speed as a 1 core of ryzen 7950x . I guess if you need a dedi, then no choice. You can get an equally performing VPS for about 20% the price.

What is the advantage of buying an old dedicated server?

I know I'm late to the party here. I got a few SYS-LE-1 right away and just didn't get to using them till now. I ended up getting them in SBG3 (was hoping for RBX) but ill eat that additional 2ms as was able to cut costs in almost half buy getting a few of these to replace older more expensive spinning rust!

Hello @TomasSystems and @emengweb , could you advise the server you were trying to buy?
The code "BFSETUP" works fine for SYS, RISE, ADVANCE, GAME servers but it seems there are some issues indeed to apply it on KS Limited Edition servers )-: Sorry about this issue and will help to get this solved asap.

When is this going to be resolved exactly? Your deals are almost over and the setup code for KS servers is still broken. If you order with the setup fee, will you issue a refund on the setup fee because of these issues?

Congrats, avesome result. I got same too. Have you got Intel NVMes installed too? 512K and 1M IOPS are very high, are these disks new?

I tried RBX DC at summer on Kimsufi range and I got very weak network performance. I compared this SBG DC (mine is here too) with Hetzner FSN and I always got better network results. So I think SBG seems to be the best in France. I could select the DC because on Tuesday the order site allowed it so I picked SBG.

How much SYS-LE-1s did you buy?

  • Need server with cpu benchmark above 15 000.
With 64gb of ram, more than 1tb of NVMe.

    For about 40€ :o

    I have math problems
On VPS LE 1, you advertise a 5€ normal price with 27% discount on 2 years
    5x24 = 120€
    120€ - 27% = 87,6€
But on billing screen, it shows 96,29€

Seeing how you're quoting euros, did you forget to account for VAT?

    Hello @ascicode ,

The VPS-LE offers for black friday are 15% OFF for one month only.
When you take a 24-month contract, there is an all-time discount of 15%.
so in reality you get 27% off the first month and then 15% off for the remaining 23 months (and a little extra discount if you pay upfront).
It is confusing on the website and I will request a fix asap.

On the "classic" VPS range you do get 50% for 24-months (VPS value, comfort, essential and elite).

Is that only working for first offer? Cause i cant buy a 2nd with same discount.

    Hello @PineappleM ,
There is no limit on the number of orders for above mentioned VPS as per T&Cs on the website. There is a limit is on the VPS starter at 1$ though (new customer only = first order)

  • @OVH_APAC I think you meant the ping @ascicode since you quoted their reply. No worries though!

    Hello @Ght
All dedicated servers are recurring offers (until server cancellation) and you can pay monthly (whether you choose to commit or not)
setup fee can be waived using the code BFSETUP
