Colocrossing bought them eons ago. Same VPS ran great for 9 years. I JUST left last month because I think it was still on the same machine and wouldn't run a new OS.
I honestly don't remember any significant downtime in 9 years. It was a great backup VPS.
Kinda hoping I can find some deal today that will last another 9 years. Dedicated would be WAY overkill but that $99 deal sounds fun for my pet projects.

Yes we are actively provisioning already ordered LA VPS. We expecting another node to come online today and a 4th node by tomorrow. We have another 10 node nodes shipping out Monday.
Due to some hardware delays we unfortunately were not able to get quite as many servers up in LA and different markets that we hoped for on the launch of our new VPS service. We will however be looking to release deals on LA and other markets as they launch.
