    Announcement: There might a short outage in SLC2 as Datacentre needs to an emergency upgrade/maintence on router, if all goes fine, won't take more then few minutes

    This is meant to utilise the new 100G GTT added in SLC2

  • I am wondering, why VDS in LA is a bit more expensive than SLC? Is it because you completely own the hardware in SLC, which costs less on maintenance, while the hardware in LA is managed by Limestone Network rather than yourself, and you need to pay extra management fee for them?

    IT's not about owning hardware, but the overall hosting charges are way too higher in LA compared to SLC2

    Power charges are higher

    Moreover in LA we are using Equinix via LimeStone, which again is way more costlier then SLC2 Location

    So due to all this our own costs are much higher in LA compared to SLC2, hence we have to pass on the extra costs to our clients

    It seems the maintenance as announced earlier has started in SLC I'll upgrade your VDS shortly once the maintenance is completed
