Recently got shared hosting from Hostbrr @labze which is quite premium, fast, affordable and moreover support is quick and friendly. The DA works well, WP sites load super fast. They're the one rare LE host which acutally performs well. highly recommended.
Also having services with Racknerd, buyvm and few others. No complaints at all.
Regarding worst deals I can say about dedipath.
Absolutely... hard to surpass that. -- I guess a company could just close without any notice whatsoever, but a company of that size with virtually no notice is crazy. I literally wouldn't have even known about it except seeing a post on LowEndBox then I scrambled to do damage control.
$100/3 years*
The worst was a $14 "lifetime" plan from CloudAtCost that turned out to be scammers. It only lasted 1 year before they start asking money for it and performance was so crappy so I could rarely use it for anything meaningful.
The best is the following new-year FLASH SALE from Racknerd which I've been using almost 3 years and serves me really well:
3x vCPU Cores
60 GB Pure SSD RAID-10 Storage (SSD Cached in LA)
5 GB RAM
7000GB Monthly Premium Bandwidth (was doubled)
1Gbps Public Network Port
$20.21 yearly recurring price.
(I'm excluding free servers from this poll).
wow where was this
Last BF, I got one as well, but the CPU was too weak so had to let go.
How do you get this offer?
Greencloud SG 1010 - $100/3yr
Advins Genoa - $24/yr
Crunchbits Starfield special - ~$11/yr for 3 core/4.5GB RAM/125 GB SSD
IncogNET Dedipath refugee offer - $12/yr for base plan
Limewave Dedipath refugee - $15/yr for 2 core 3900/2GB RAM/30GB SSD with BGP.
Purple daddy flash sale - $16/yr for 2 core/2.5GB RAM/55GB SSD.
Calins NAT - $5.69/yr
When it works, it's pretty good, but it does not most of the time. But not going to complain for that price.
Xeroz.tech - India VM "unmetered FUP" for EUR 3.9/qtr. But those guys are complete dicks and closed that location.
Virmach Virbot VMs - $6.3 and $7.2 each.
Uptime is just around 92% and 95%, but again at that price for a Ryzen, wouldn't complain.
Natvps micronode instance - GBP 5/yr
buyshared 24$/y / reseller hosting and crunchbits vm - best
xxx - none to name as worst yet
Someone posted the coupon here

Okay I missed this. Hope there's another round for black friday soon.
My best deal so far was a 4TB HDD vps for 50$/y from @c1vhosting
Haven't come accross any bad deals yet
thank you 😎😎
best was mxroute deal for emails
racknerd is always good too
hostbrr has been surprisingly good server
My worst deal was with Dedipath, lost over 30K due to their sudden shutdown and also lost gear worth $10K (Flexentials)
Best Deal so far with @fiberstate they have offered me awesome colo deal and they even picked and migrated all my gear from evocative (LA) to their DC in SLC for FREE ...
Their support is good and Brianna and Dan @fiberstate both are very helpful and they are flexible with deals
@Advin The new server pre-order located in Nuremberg was basically the biggest surprise of my Black Friday.Again, the best I've gotten in two years.
The basic configuration is as follows:
KVM Premium XL
Starting from
$48.00
Monthly
AMD Genoa 9554 (24 vCores)
6 dedicated, 18 burstable vCPU
48GB DDR5 ECC Memory
480GB NVMe SSD Storage
100TB Bandwidth (10 Gbit)
Located in Nuremberg, DE
There's a 50% discount for annual payments, so if I'm willing to pay all at once this is basically $24 per month.
He also promised me a traffic increase to 330T for pre-order users, in other words this is an average of 1G * 7*24 on 10G, which I think is a very good offer indeed.
The configuration itself is a "half VDS, half VPS" configuration, but considering the pricing itself, I think it offers better performance and more stability than Hetzner's similarly priced (or even slightly higher) auction machines.
Now just waiting for delivery in a few days and enjoying.
How could I forget MXRoute! 15e/yr for I can't remember how much storage but more than enough for my domains. Unbeatablle
100GB. Nice deal and I'm also happy with that one.
Another good one was the Hostsolutions 50€/3year 1TB HDD deal. Especially after they deadpooled and Terrahost took over with superb Hardware and Uptime.
Shout out to Abd as well, they resell MXRoute and I managed to get a flash sale last year - 4GB storage @ $3.6/yr. Perfect for my hobby needs.
You got 100 GB for 15e? Wow. I just checked and I got 25GB which is already awesome.
Yea, there was an offer in 2018 I think. Got it since then.
@vitobotta - lol yes Rootpal was the worst! The best deal to date has to be a Black Friday deal for a 64GB VPS from @Advin Servers. They actually recently upgraded the CPU cores for free making a great deal, a brilliant one - so grateful
The best was a Cobalt RAQ4 from EV1 servers.
The worst. Anything from Burst.net
Showing my old skool service providers here.
Hehe. I got it for $10. Even though I only used it to send exactly TWO e-mails, both to myself, I will probably renew it if renewals are at the same price, because I kind of wanted to use it, I just forgot about it!
Unbelievable. That offer sounds incredible
I can't remember which offer it was last year but I tried several days to order something from Advin and everything was out of stock all the time.
best as in the cheapest?
for me it probably is the $6/y - 1c/1g/15g vps from @Lampard
Best : @Advin servers great value, but what I really like that they added recently is a full disclosure on what CPU cores you actually get. for example a 4 core machine is openly marketed as 1 dedicated 3 burstable, it's a breath of fresh air and other providers should take note.
It also allows a buyer if using a 100% CPU load application, what they should expect in terms of fair use and performance. Probably won't buy services in future unless this is stated in the same open way Advin servers do. Im sure some other providers out there already doing the same, but really the ones not doing this need to consider changing.
Also shout out to mxroute, sthosting.
Worst: contabo. Just terrible performance and a blame the customer mentality. Piss poor.
Not necessarily cheapest, but what was the best value for the money.
Best deals:
All VPS I have from @dustinc (US) and @hostaris (UK)
Windows VPS from @crunchbits
2TB HDD VPS from @c1vhosting
MXRoute from @jar
Worst ever deal:
Shared hosting lifetime on StackSocial (don't remember hosting provider...)
Is not BF deal, just ask them for LET yearly promo
