    Thank you for your response, and in the past, I agree, that has been so, but I am currently looking at the upcoming GCV BF/CM sale from a Schrödinger's cat point of view. It is one of the few advantages of living in a world where the truth is subjective. I can dream of great deals from GCV on 7950x's until I open the box on BF, and see if the dream is alive or dead. :smiley:

    I believe some protection was in place, but it's not always enough.

    Like all good deals here, sometimes you are just not available to get the deal.

    I don't see this kind of deal as a way to make a lot of money. Margins are low, if not non-existent. On the other hand, it can provide quick cash for investments.

    But I see it above all as a way of thanking the community now that they're well established.
    So preventing scalpers from adding to the workload of managing transfers seems to me to be a good thing for them too.

    However, I'm not bitter! I just wanted to know if there were any measures. :)
