    Maybe they just want to drive away those who subscribed to the early "too cheap" plans because it doesn't cover their costs

    No, this has nothing to do with our recent actions. We wanted to get clients off of our legacy platform because it was costing us way too much money to rent IPs from our server providers. Our new platform we lease IP Blocks from IPXO, so its a fraction of the cost. As previously stated however, any customer affected by this will get a free 1 month VPS with the renewal the same as what it was originally.

    At least you refunded me although it's small money. At this point, I should give you some credit, no more. hope you good luck in business.

    Thanks for your feedback.

    you said that your company is only you? So can the efficiency of tickets be guaranteed now?

    So this is quite embarrassing. After investigation, an employee who was assigned to post that announcement article forgot to check the box "Published" in our WHMCS system. It was later discovered through logs, that the assigned employee tried to cover their tracks and checked the Published box today. The disappointment is real today. This is the best thing I've ever read on LET. I know the rest of you really enjoyed the @cociu drama but I just couldn't get into it myself. This right here though, this is meme worthy.

    Thank this comment if you want to see them banned as scammers.

    Ignore the “edited” part I promise the last part of this screenshotted comment was there before the provider clicked “thanks” on it: https://files.freesocial.co/f.php?h=3t8LRfeR&p=1

    It was a rogue employee of this LET account who did the edit, but it said the same thing before, trust me bro.

    Edit: Well, this is embarrassing, it appears I left my PC open at work since its friday today and I keep longer breaks in friday. A cat walked over my keyboard in our office.

    Not only have we refunded all customers affected, we've also promised a month free of VPS service, and their first bill will match their previous bill (yada yada)
    Thank you.

    I'm not a native english speaker, so maybe I simply misunderstand you - but 'first bill' sounds like "Forget it, you will not get the same deal you had. All you get is 1 month at the original price, after that you pay more"

    For clarification, I should've written "recurring bill" instead of first bill. HXServers will honor the original prices (each month, moving forward) for any customer who wishes to stay.

    So, you meant to send emails out but some unnamed former employee - whom you selected and employed - forgot to click 'publish'.
    Then you meant to have a serious discussion here, after all you wanted to be perceived as a new but professional provider but someone, so I have to assume, hacked your LET account and wrote BS that was so weird that people began to laugh you out of the thread.
    Then you got caught red handed by my gofer and now you tell us, that you meant 'recurring' when you typed 'first'.

    Could you possibly have meant "guys, I'm a serial liar and also love to cheat. Any willing victims here?" when you typed "We're a small company, founded in 2023 based out of Irvine, California. Our goal is to provide excellent service and exceptional customer service." in your thread?

    Looks like they just want to weed out early annual/quarterly paying users, Their promise to keep the same price refers to keeping the same price as monthly payment, because quarterly payment and annual payment is no longer available, although the previous plan of the old user who was mistakenly deleted was annual payment or quarterly payment.

    Nuh, you got that totally wrong! Actually, he meant to put up a decent node with no more than 2 VPS per HWT. But then, "a former employee" clicked on "brutally oversell!"

    -cold stop- because I just saw his "on his knees" post and I don't hit someone who's lying on the floor. So I don't type the rest I had in mind ...

    In-fucking-credible, he again tried to play smart and largely cut down his apology post!

    Oh well, "ask for something and you shall receive gratuitously" does not exclude a good solid beating, does it?

    @hxservers

    I get it, you can't even afford a decent server and probably are in panic mode. I really get it but what you must get is that neither is panic a good advisor, nor is presenting serial lies and betting on being smart enough. Sorry, you are not smart enough, not in your current condition anyway.

  • I've been away from the forums for a while, so totally missed the early stages of the drama, but reading this thread is pure comedy gold.

    These are actually in order of what hxservers posted here:

    @hxservers said:
    We did not dispatch emails to our customers warning them of this change. We had intended to send a mass email campaign through our billing portal, yet - emails were not sent, nor were they checked before the system started its automatic cycle of refunds and terminations.

    We understand your point. Just to be clear though, we did make an announcement, customers just didn't read it. In the future, we will do a much better job ensuring our customers are aware of what we're announcing.

    As previously stated above, we meant to send notifications to customers with the link to the announcement. The email server failed to send the notification.
