How long before the 5950x hits the shelves again?
Invoice #131466
Please upgrade to 50G NVME and add monthly backup.
Thanks!
We have a mixture of 5950x and 3950x I cannot guarantee 5950x to any user
This offer is too good even for a 3950x, so just order assuming that you will get 3950x but since 5950x is also there in the mix, you may even get 5950x, but consider this offer for 3950x, I've even changed it in the order form to 3950x

Hi, love your great product, but I have a quesion.
When I run
lscpuon my VDS, the partial output shows as follows:I noticed that there is only one thread per core. But regarding AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, there are 16 cores, 32 threads in total, and you have promised that there are only 16 plan 1 VDS per physical machine, so totally 8 threads are in use only, and the rest of 8 threads are in idle. So I am wondering if you could allocate the unused threads for VDSs, so that we can enjoy better performance? Thanks.
Hi
If a customer orders VPS with 2 vCore then just 16 per Node, but if you a customer orders with 1 Core then yes it can accommodate more
So if I understand it right, a single node can accommodate 16 dual-vCore VDSs, or 32 single-vCore VDSs?
yes correct
So that's two single-vCore VDSs may share the same physical core, then would the CPU performance of a single-vCore VDS be affected by its neighbors?
Well it's not like that a specific core is assigned to a specific VPS
but a node has 32 vCore and we just add VDS with a total of 32 vCore
Are you facing issues with performance or have CPU steal issues ?
I noticed that my plan name has changed from Ryzen 5950x to Ryzen 3950x. Fortunately, the system still shows Ryzen 5950x, but does this mean there is a possibility of changing my CPU model in the future?
Invoice #131490.
Please double the disk and add monthly backup.
Thank you.
no, it's actually a mix of 3950x and 5950x, your VPS will stay where it is
The name has been changed just for new orders, your VPS will stay on same node
Not yet, but I am afraid that the neighbor would affect the performance of my VDS in the future since we share the same physical core.
Done VDS upgraded
Please make sure to enable your windows evaluation license else your VPS will keep shutting down every few hours if you need help submit a support ticket
Well that's how these VDS are setup
EDIT: I just checked CPU Affinity is enabled, hence CPU Cores are pinned to specific VDS, so it won't affect you
Got it, thanks for your explanation!
No problem, let me know you know have any further queries
I think the package name should be consistent with the machine configuration to avoid unnecessary disputes. Even if there are some issues such as insufficient resources, all previous order information should not be changed
If you are on a 5950x and if package says 3950x what is the dispute here ?
Not only this the original post you can check it again it actually did not mentioned whether it's a 3950 or 5950 it just said Ryzen
But then there was a fuss about 3950 and 5950 so I changed package name to 3950 so that for all new orders there is no confusion as you can see it in the order form itself that's it's a 3950x even though you may get 5950 and if somebody who is on 5950 wants 3950 they can let me know, I'll migrate them
As I repeatedly said it does not effects existing customers, so don't worry about it
Thanks for reply!
Many nodeseek users are concerned about this, so I have to raise this question.I will relay your response to them.
Hi, I am wondering, for the coming 7950X version of VDS, how many CPU threads per dedicated vCore can get?
I am asking this because based on the current VDS package you are selling, in your concepts, "1 dedicated vCore" is equivalent to a single CPU threads only, which is not a real dedicated CPU core for many users. In other words, most of the users consider real dedicated CPU core as a whole physical core, which, in this case, shoud have two complete CPU threads. Because of this, some users consider your "dedicated vCore" advertisement as fraud, for deliberately advertising a CPU thread as a dedicated vCore.
Hence, many users, including me, want to know, what is your CPU setup for the coming 7950X version of VDS? How many threads per dedicated vCore can get?
If you still plan to consider a thread as a dedicated vCore for the coming VDS sales, you should make clear statement of it in the product description, so customers know what they may expect from you.
vCore itself means Virtual Core or Thread, I never said anywhere as CPU Core, it's mentioned as vCore, even the order FORM clearly states it as vCore, hence if anybody considers it as FRAUD they should really read the post carefully and search in google or just ask before ordering if they have double before considering a provider as FRAUD
With 7950X also it will be vCore and not a physical CORE
I just double checked even the Post Title clearly says vCORE
The post also states "vCORE" so what exactly is FRAUD here ?
