Yes its the $5 year plan.
Thanks Jar.
Everything else was easy to follow in the setup instructions, just that the spam was missing.
Hi Jar.
Just done a another test, to make sure it's not my end.
I switched off my pi-hole.
Then I ran a brand new portable browser, with no addon or extensions.
I then logged in.
'Spam' setting is still missing.
So I'm pretty sure it's your end.
@jar I saw this was still current and wanted to support you so I signed up. This is my first purchase with you all and it went just fine.
A couple of questions...
In your original post, you said it's not linked to accounts.mxroute.com.
I want to purchase a larger account in the future.
1. Would I create another account at the more official account (no S) page when I'm ready to purchase the larger offering? I'm guessing yes.
I see that you all designed your new webmail and I'm wanting to try it out. It rejected my login for my micro account.
2. Do the micro accounts work with the new webmail? I'm guessing no.
Thanks so much!
Yeah you’d sign up for new service at accounts.mxroute.com as though it were a totally different service provider. The webmail.mxroute.com instance works for all users, but your MX records need to resolve to one of our servers. There may be some time for “propagation” if you will. I used a unique way of determining the server to select at login time for it: https://github.com/mxroute/mxlookup
@jar
Thanks for your help. I believe I have everything setup correctly but I'm still not able to login to https://webmail.mxroute.com/
I am able to send and receive emails without issue. Here's an interesting finding that may or may not be related...
As you can see in the screenshot at the link below, when I click Roundcube @ 1, my email address displays as [username]@localhost. I received 550 errors when I tried to send with this login.
When I clicked the icon @ 2, my full email address was shown as you see in the 3rd screenshot below and sending and receiving works just fine.
When I go to https://wednesday.mxrouting.net/roundcube/ and login with my username and password, it always presents me with the localhost email. It won't allow me to login with my full email address at this URL. I would expect to be able to go to https://wednesday.mxrouting.net/roundcube/ and login with my username and have it present with the full email address.
Switching back to https://webmail.mxroute.com/, when I attempt to login with just my username, it's quick to go back to the login prompt. When I attempt to login with my email address, it takes longer as if it's attempting to authenticate.
Link to screenshot. (Pasting apparently didn't work.)

@taruppee1447 I'll leave the longer explanation to @jar but you are trying to log in with the "default" account which won't work. You can log in with any email user that you create though.
@taruppee1447
Thank you!
Created a new email account and I'm in business.
Much appreciated!
@jar I wanted to thank you for all your hard work. The new webmail is amazing and beautiful. The team over at roundcubeplus does great work and I see that you used their themes and calendar.
I've been looking for a new host for my email ever since Google told the Gsuite Legacy users that they need to find a new home. Even though they reversed their stance, I've been wanting to make a move anyway. My users are going to be very pleased when they login to the new beautiful webmail and they have calendar features. I won't hear any complaining!
Switching gears slightly...
I prefer the "Desktop (wide list and mail preview below)" Layout in the Mailbox View. Neither the Elastic or GMail+ interface skin has that layout.
However, I looked at the themes at roundcubeplus on their demo site and it looks like both the Classic & Larry skins have these - and these appear to be covered under the CCA-ShareAlike license so it may not cost anything if you wanted to install these.
It looks like some of their other commercial skins have this layout as well but that would cost some money. Maybe if enough people were interested, we could figure out a way to support your licensing a few extra skins. I like the Alpha and the w21 skins myself.
This has made my weekend. Thank you so very much!
@jar
Any update of fixing the missing spam settings?
I have had no answer to my ticket.
I have been receiving spam in my emails and have no way to filter it, until its fixed
It’s on my list to review. I’m sorry I’m not very quick on anything that isn’t breaking inbound/outbound as a whole. I’ll catch up with more automation at some point, it’s a cycle. I get overworked, I automate repetitive processes, rinse and repeat.
It looks like FOSSBilling isn't assigning the actual package, it's creating a custom one instead. Might take me a bit.
Nevermind. Fixed. At least for current orders. New ones are still not going to have a package assigned properly, and I think this is a limitation of fossbilling. It seems unable to actually apply a package already created in DA. But well, this is why we're working together to test this bad boy.
Well done Jar!
I can now have a play and keep them pesky competition spam emails out of my inbox!
@jar wanted to let you know that I'm receiving this error when logging into the portal...
The stream or file "/var/www/html/data/log/event/event-2024-03-02.log" could not be opened in append mode: Failed to open stream: Permission denied The exception occurred while attempting to log: Client #95 logged in Context: [95] (9999)
I'm still able to login however and the error doesn't seem to be negatively impacting anything.
Also, I signed up for an MXROUTE plan on the main accounts.mxroute.com (with the "s") so I won't be needing this account any longer, so I sent a "Request cancellation" through the account.mxroute.com (no "s") dashboard.
Thanks!
@jar Hello, I purchased this $5 plan last year and today I found out that my plan was automatically paid via paypal after it expired, I don't see an automatic payment switch in the system, can I get a refund?
You need to look at your PayPal account -- you must have automatic payment for MXroute set up there. You need to cancel that
An error has occurred.
It seems the offer is not available?
The offer in the OP is 13 months old; presumably it has expired.
@jar deserves that $5
My micro still works but I cant access account.mxroute.com, is it just me?
You missed an "s".
It's
accounts.mxroute.com.If anyone else is still using this package, it is account.mxroute.com (without the s) but I just got confirmed from @jar that it is down.
Indeed. There are times when I branch out to see what sticks, and times where I reel it back in. We're looking at a reeling back in moment. Deciding between bringing fossbilling back online and migrating it's users to hostbill. It's not a lot there to begin with.
Hopefully the former.
Curios to know your reasoning, whatever way you decide. I'm still rooting for FOSSBilling to mature and start taking market shares, so it would be interesting to hear your experience with it so far.
It's not that I don't like it. But I'm worried it's not something that should be sitting on the back burner. Granted, everyone who signed up under it should have been aware that this is open source software and it is based on something which was once quite insecure. But I'm still worried that if I neglect it and it is found to be insecure, that's not where my eyes are going to be and I'll still get run through the mud over it.
