Also, to OP, it's just a suspension.

It's not like they booted/banned you completely as a customer.

    Just work with the provider.

What was it? Something you can share? In case it can be helpful and is not intrusive. @RUSS

Choose a provider that their AUP fits your needs.

Once I thought I can't live without Hetzner, but now I have around 100 servers, none from Hetzner

Wow, can you share how you manage them? I only have 8 servers, but it's giving me a headache.

I use 3 different services and self-hosted uptime-kuma for uptime and hearbeat monitors.
I made my tools and scripts to automate most tasks.

I don't use any automation tool like ansible, it gave me more disasters than help

Ansible is very useful for frequent and repetitive tasks, however writing playbook is the most time consuming part

@Don_Keedic, I totally agree with you.

However, as of my experience, the most customers are too lazy to read ToS (unfortunately), thus I think that mentioning key points of Fair Use Policy should be made at the tariff plan description too.

This might negatively impact marketing though, but will prevent lots of angry shocked customers.

I think the market is so saturated that it's really more of a caveat emptor situation. If someone provides you a service, you need to do your due dilligence. If you work for your money, you care about how you spend it. If you break their terms because you didn't read them, how is that the providers fault? You came to them, they didn't come to you, you know?

I do agree that having their definition of "fair use" for the CPU/Bandwidth in addition to activities they've deemed "not a good fit for us" should be included directly under their server offerings.

Another idea might be to have a pop-up between the order form and the payment submission with an abridged version of the TOS (with a link at the bottom to the complete version) with the most common offenses and their fair use policy. That'd probably cut down on tickets and dealing with tickets when they can just point to that and move on.

Is this supposed to be a joke? They redid their website this year, seems to be a simple mistake that they didn't update the link in their forum signature.

If you write off every provider who has ever had a link 404, good luck finding any provider.

Official company representatives should do their job and keep communication up to date. Lack of attention indicates ignorance. This is how low end roles - highest standards possible.

Now, how about that proof of 200% usage?

    You mean this? https://prnt.sc/dkeGjTz2YOhW
Since our monitoring system does not have record older than 7 hours so I cannot take a screenshot of his CPU usage over that period, but here is current screenshot of his CPU usage after reactivating: https://prnt.sc/drGxk5QXZSTv
It seems that he was aware of the issue and fixed it.

Btw, thank you for pointing out the URL issue on my signature, I have not changed it for at least 5+ years. But judging the quality of provider by that is not reasonable, with your high expectation and standard you should be better off with other providers instead.

We have that included already, no customers can order a service from us without agreeing to our TOS: https://prnt.sc/6eN0TphAADio
In the end, they will still have a reason to complain, i.e "The TOS is too long that I will not spend my precious time to read it".

You probably want to do some redirect for this URL - it's probably posted a lot of times in thousand different places and it's even better to redirect to index page than show 404 ;-)
