    It’s definitely possible to build a lot of servers in ~5 years or however long this problem has been occuring

    The months you were talking about are so minimal in comparison to how long this has been going on

    To me it’s obvious that it has to do with financials

    Otherwise they could have done it in much larger scale at a time

    It’s more I can only do so much before I lose my mind :) it’s all on my to source, build, test, pack, ship, deploy. It’s killer. We could use more staff but I generally perfect keeping a small team of guys I trust.

    I’m also up to my ears in namecrane work.

    Had you taken VC money you’d just hire someone to take care of that stuff, maybe one per continent

    I’m glad you don’t since there already are a lot of providers doing just that, so I’m not suggesting you should or anything, you're independent and it's part of the whole idea if I were to guess
