ADTAQ VPS AND EVENT CATERING

"Looks like game hosting website." - LET User

Week In Review

Hello again LET,

After ADTAQ's wildly successful FREE 2TB STORAGE VPS launch last week, department heads in the marketing and sales divisions flew out to Palm Springs to review performance metrics and sales data in an effort to determine what next steps would best position the company to deliver on its promise of maximizing customer value from a price and performance perspective. Copious bottles of Champagne and Brunello di Montalcino were provided and consumed, poolside backgammon was enjoyed, and the wait staff informed us that "only one lady threw up" so we consider the event to be a grand success.

Unfortunately, the department heads were unable to make any actual headway in next steps for the company and have been terminated effective June 12th, 2023. Please contact Jan in HR for your commemorative "I Got Canned @ ADTAQ" t-shirt.

Equally unfortunate is the fact that all of you are now once again stuck with me as your "Sales Douche" but I promise I'll do my best to not be too annoying.

What's New?

We would once again like to offer a big "thank you" to everyone that participated in our Free 2TB VPS launch event. The feedback and usage patterns from real users has been very valuable, and we've already taken steps behind the scenes to improve our platform further. As we zero in on our target market of "people using stolen credit cards to buy virtual servers online" we decided to sweeten the pot a little bit more with the following product enhancements:

50% OFF COUPON WHILE SUPPLIES LAST

You provided feedback, we listened. $10/TB is just too expensive. While we are taking the stance of "agree to disagree" in the end the customer really is always right, so starting this second today you can use the coupon CANNED to get 50% off on our Storage VPS packages.

2.5 GBIT UPLINKS FOR ALL

Now that we have stress tested the network a bit thanks to the abusers of the free trial plan, we're comfortable opening up the throttle a bit to a dedicated 2.5 Gbit Uplink on every VPS. That's right, not the "the dedicated server I'm reselling only has 1 Gbit so you all have to share it" special, but a legit 2.5 Gbit, each.

And yes, before you ask, Free Trialers are eligible for this upgrade. Just comment in this thread with the last octet (number) of your IP address along with the words "This is really fast!" and we will upgrade you, too!

NEW 1 TB / 1 vCPU / 1 GB RAM Plan - $10/mo $5/mo w/ coupon "CANNED" - ORDER NOW

In an effort to find balance between a $20/month plan being too expensive and a Free plan being too, uh, Free, we decided to roll out Storage 1. 1 TB of Fast Disk, 1 vCPU, 1 GB RAM, all for the price of a cup of coffee with a lot of extra shit in it at an expensive airport coffee shop. Use coupon CANNED to cut the normal $10/mo price in half to fiscally irresponsible levels.

2 TB STORAGE VPS FOR $20/MO $10/MO WITH COUPON "CANNED" - ORDER NOW

Get our STORAGE 2 - 2 TB VPS for just $10/mo with coupon CANNED. Yes, I'm sure that $5.00/TB is also too expensive, but it IS lower than $10, so you can't say we aren't trying.

For any of our Free Trialers that plan to actually keep your VPS after the trial (all 2 of you) and would like the $10/month rate, just comment on this thread and reference the last octet (number) in your ADTAQ VPS IP address along with the words "This is a great deal!" and we'll be happy to oblige :)

Not enough? Large VPS plans are also available on our site, you can check them out there. Does the coupon work on the larger plans too? I suppose you'll have to find out...

LEAVE A REVIEW, GET A FREE MONTH

As we are new to the VPS market, we're trying to spread the word about what we're doing here at ADTAQ. To that end, we will credit paying customers a month's service charges whenever they post an honest, authentic review of their experience on the ADTAQ platform. There's a limit to one credit per review, per month, and we don't want this to get spammy. For more details or to submit your review, visit our review page.

As always, anything we sell includes the following:

  • EU CUSTOMERS: NO VAT Put the calculator away, pricing is upfront and clear
  • 1 GBIT 2.5 GBIT UPLINK
  • Dedicated IPv4 - NATs are for home networks and computers at the library
  • VPS and All disk space available IMMEDIATELY after purchase
  • 2 Clicks to Buy - No need to type in a bunch of billing info, just pay and go.

Here's a fresh YABS from a VPS with the new 2.5 Gbps uplink on a system under production load:

What's Next?

Now that we've launched our Storage VPS offering, we're eager to add additional offerings so that customers with different requirements can also experience our ultra fast network, 2-click instant provisioning, and rock solid datacenter.

Since the Sales and Marketing teams didn't really work out, we decided to reach out to LET directly with a simple poll. Let us know what you are looking for and we will do our best to deliver it.

    Ah I found it, https://www.hetzner.com/storage/storage-box

Cool, will investigate. Is anyone else doing this in the states?

There seems to be a formatting error in the post, no $1 VPS.

And for that reason, I’m out.

I couldn't find anything about torrents in your terms of service but I assume public trackers are a no-go?

  • ADTAQADTAQ Member, Host Rep

Debian, Ubuntu, and many others run public trackers so I couldn't possibly ban such a thing.

As in, more traffic than our plans currently provide?

If we take unlimited off the table for now, how much traffic would it take to "seal the deal" for you?

    Unlimited or 20TB or so.

20TB is within the realm of possibility, but we would need to charge at least $20/month for that so then I couldn't advertise here anymore :(

I have movie private torrents & Debian ISO public torrents running on the free trial box0.
qBittorrent is set to 30% CPU limit and 15 MB/s speed limit.
Actual speed can reach 15 MB/s at times.
So far I've consumed 4 TB bandwidth.
I might be able to use up 6 TB before the month is up and earn my second bandwidth suspension to date.

For what it's worth, we just apply a 5 Mbps cap for the rest of the month if the transfer limit is reached.

A "suspension" seems quite extreme; a company who does that probably shouldn't advertise something they aren't willing to actually let customers use.

So far the Dogshit performance VPS that is always sold out is leading the polls by a mile.

You guys realize that if that wins and I launch it you won't actually be able to buy it, right?

Would love some more input on the polls if possible. It looks like launching a low priced NVME option would be popular so we will probably move on that, but I'd love to hear from the ARM and "turnkey" folks as to what specifically they are looking for and what they'd want to pay for it.

  • ADTAQADTAQ Member, Host Rep

I also wanted to re-iterate that if you use the coupon for your purchase that it is NOT just a one time discount, but is applied every month for as long as you keep your server.
