And they claim they can't read emails. How can you send the emails if they are encrypted?
OVH for offshore email ????
I recommend Tutanota for the best privacy, Zoho for its exceptional features, and MX Route if you require a larger user base without incurring significant costs
I think customers of resellers won't be informed by MXRoute. https://accounts.mxroute.com/index.php?/news/view/50/reseller-past-due-suspensions/
@Jar can confirm.
Since it's not an encrypted mail service, this is also possible. https://www.reddit.com/r/mxroute/comments/12lntqc/can_a_reseller_access_my_emails/
Yup. But to be fair, ordering from someone you don’t trust is bad whether they’re a reseller of MXroute or a direct provider of any service. What criteria you use for who you trust should be deeply personal, so know the facts as you linked, but also decide what is acceptable for you personally.
Thank you
solid!
Getting myself a lifetime plan soon-ish.
do you recommend tutanota? do they offer pop3/smtp?
You have to use their software, no pop/smtp/imap
Nothing here will beat Tutanota in terms of security and privacy.
So in a nutshell, we should avoid swimming in the ocean right?
aha. 👎🏻
OnePoundEmail, MXRoute reseller if I remember correctly. I paid 60k IDR for 3 months via Paypal + Jenius. I used it for a year already and it's working fine. Not open source tho.
aff link on my signature. ehe
Thanks for sharing,
no pop3/smtp, great applications though.
and i only use it for non-critical stuff.
then the question arises, which service do you use for the critical things?!
not email.
How can we kill email?
Sad.. i need open source
i mean, what do you want to be open sourced?
its pretty much barebones mxroute, which is barebones on its own.
you got web ui for creating and managing accounts, open source webmails such as roundcube and imap/smtp.
but once again, you not only put trust in mxroute, but also in whatever reseller you go with to not spy on ya.
mxroute recently had a plan for $5 per year, it should still be possible to buy it. so you only have to trust mxroute this way.
I found this (Skiff) and their github for the mail. Never used it so can't say anything about it.
Skiff is amazing, never heard anything bad about it.
There are multiple email hosting available on the web. The community answer is very informative.
Congrats on your first post

better release Path article or I will send a bunch of "transgender activists" to your house and tell them you said changing a gender is not possible.
