    Thats my daily job :) Even though my title is System Architect (and I am Oracle Certified Master: Enterprise Architect), I have to do more programming than designing the architecture (like 90%-10%)... But I know the software and components by experience and not by reading :)

    Well, for backend I prefer Java (the mentioned certificate is for JavaEE 6), but there is no problem with C#, .net core, etc...

    Frontend is another topic - it depends on the project, for performance sometimes plain JS (vanilla), but also we use Angular. But these days even CSS can be considered a programming language - there are css vars, and there are cases when you need to know what you do :)

    Three jump boxes with ssh config files set to use ssh keys and persistent connections over a tinc mesh network.
