Yes, I had a few companies before I retired some years ago. I would say they were relatively small but successful when I sold them off to larger companies.
not because they refused it, but because their latency is higher.

With UDP latency is also important! If you are too late to get the packet, you usually ignore it, otherwise e.g. video stream would look really interesting when you would jump between future and past
