nice
But why people should buy it quarterly if they can buy it yearly for best price
people like options
Me panicking trying to work out if this comes out cheaper than the one I already got from the first page or not (thankfully it does not)
Are disks really Pure NVMe SSD? It doesn't look like based on the YABS I've seen so far.
What makes you doubt? This is PCIe3.0 not 4.0 NVMe.
The fact that all other YABs I've seen with NVMe disks are much faster.
With the greatest of respect I would have to suggest that you do not know what you are looking at then, What other sort of disk does 2 GB/s at 64k block?
You might have been dealing with hosts putting them in raid 0 for marketing numbers perhaps?
Or maybe your expectations are o the pcie lane maximum?
well I mean, I can put it in raid 0 to double the yabs but... you know
If you compare it with GreenCloud's YABs there's a big difference, that's why I asked.

Best guess without knowing the hardware is that is PCIe g 4/5 with 4 disks in raid 0 or 8 nvme disks in raid 10, or it could be a ram based cache, not really sure. Maybe someone who knows their services can comment. I would assume most will know that is exceptional and not standard.
The keen-eyed will notice something odd
Most of ours are 2 x Samsung Enterprize u.2 in Riad 1.
If you're expecting an nvme disk on a shared server to hit 17.89 GB/s then I'm afraid your expectations may be set too high. That most certainly either is several nvmes in raid 0/10/etc or a ram cache or something similar to that effect.
Inceptions scores shared here are far enough above that of a sata ssd for them to either be shared nvme (not the full speed of a single drive) or multiple sata drives in tandem.
If you dislike this speed then you're welcome to make your own informed purchasing decisions (This is why sharing yabs is nice), but I would be quite hesitant to believe the marketing is wrong with this information. Just different setups and possibly even different node loads.
Honestly, I think the deals you've already done are great. I would probably have got the bigger one too if I hadn't convinced myself about half an hour before that I'd stop buying bigger VPSes and just buy a dedi instead.
But, in terms of promotions, I think it's a great way of getting exposure. I'd heard your name before, but I probably wouldn't have ever thought to try out your services if it wasn't on a crazy deal. But obviously, I also know that you need to be very careful on the line you follow to ensure you're still profitable.

So I can only assume they have some mixed nodes and some of them are the new/latest generation AMD EPYC servers with pcie 5 and a MASSIVE raid 10 array of NVMe disks.
Good for them! must be fun kit to play with.
@InceptionHosting How long is the sale running for? Looking at potentially replacing two other VPS in Amsterdam with one of these but need a bit more time to figure it out.
Hard to say, could be up to tomorrow, may run it a little longer.
Long time client, I signed up with this package as a Black Friday 'quarterly' in Phoenix, happy with it, would it be possible to upgrade to 'yearly' and simply pay the additional 16 Euro?
