GreenCloudVPS 9999 Birthday SJC E5

yoursunnyyoursunny Member, IPv6 Advocate
edited November 2022 in Service Transfers

This is a service transfer offer for GreenCloudVPS 9999 Birthday SJC plan from 9th birthday sale.
I decide to let it go because I won this one at a raffle but my other servers have already covered this region sufficiently.

Specification

  • 9 vCPU, Xeon E5-2698v4, 30% persistent usage allowance
  • 9GB RAM
  • 99GB SSD
  • 1 dedicated IPv4 and /112 on-link IPv6
  • 9TB monthly transfer, counted in both directions

Information

  • YABS benchmark: YABS archive, YABSdb
  • network looking glass: San Jose
  • host node: SJCKVM1
  • BGP subnet: 173.249.199.0/24 2607:9000:8000::/36
  • involucration risk: 5%
  • price increase risk: 10%

Service Price paid to provider

  • billing cycle: every three years
  • recurring price: USD $99
  • next invoice date: 2025-10-24

Provider Transfer Policy

Service transfers are allowed and encouraged.
Certain transfers are subject to $10 transfer fee.
Seller will cover this transfer fee up to $10.

I have confirmed transfer eligibility for this particular service with the provider.

Transfer Fee paid to @yoursunny

Initially, only push-ups are accepted.
Price is 9999 push-ups streamed live on YouTube, completed in 9 days.
I'll then download the video(s) and you need to grant me permission to post the video(s) on my sites.
To prevent cheating and avoid wasted effort, I'll go over detailed expectations and safety precautions via video chat in LET Jitsi room.

If nobody has started their push-up video stream by 2022-11-08 (with at least 8% of the required sum completed per day) or if nobody can complete the push-ups by 2022-11-17, other payment methods will be unlocked:

  • PayPal: USD $119 (seller pays transaction fee)
  • Venmo or Bluebird or CashApp: USD $111 (no transaction fee)
  • personal check: USD $117 (buyer pays postage; seller pays processing fee; subject to approval via Bluebird app)
  • WeChat Pay: CNY ¥819 (no transaction fee)

If the transfer fails to complete due to reasons outside of seller's control, payment gateway transaction fee will be deducted from the refund.

Recipient Priority

This service transfer is potentially in high demand.
I have already received 3 messages requesting this service transfer.
If you are interested in receiving this powerful VPS with USD or CNY payment, you can comment #9999pushups in this thread.

When USD and CNY payment methods are unlocked, if there are multiple perspective buyers, I will randomly pick who gets the dibs.
Each potential buyer will then have at least 24 hours to complete the transfer, before the chance is passed to the next potential buyer.

The random ordering will determined with the following procedure:

  1. Take the output value of NIST Randomness Beacon at 11/08/2022 01:39 +0000 timestamp (this is 99 minutes past midnight).
  2. Concatenate the username of a potential buyer with the beacon output value (text format, upper case), and compute the SHA256 digest of the concatenated string.
  3. Sort the SHA256 digests in ascending order.

Example command of digest computation:

$ echo -n 'AstroDD20C58BB7FB1972B5CD7DB688572222B6B7C4F5AFC35B4465323C3ED8D9DB70EE6EBB75FA474035006D9E6448B50A3AB0B9A18ED75D5AE51F374F7108A704E0' | sha256sum

  • 10K push-ups?! Hell no! Enjoy the service mate, you won it!

  • edited November 2022

Should be 999 in 9 days, not 9999 pushups. Could you please show the YABS result?

I will do pushups if 999 in 9 days

True. Black Friday is right around the corner, and new such offers will appear as GreenCloud has already promised. It's easier to wait and be ready to order instead of doing 10K push-ups.

  • How about i give you my eternal love instead of pushups?

  • I've keep up the tradition and done 18,480 push-ups since Valentines day, but 9999 in 9 days.
    no way Jose.

Price is 9999 push-ups to match the plan name.

Could you please show the YABS result?

There are YABS report links in Information section.

    It's meant to generate drama.

    You completed more than me.

@FAT32 said there's no price limit for service transfers priced in push-ups.
Hence, 9999 push-ups price does not violate rules.

Can I plank instead? 9999 seconds in all will be completed in 9 days. B) Also, it matches the plan name. Just help a boy in my brother's wife's father's son-in-law's neighborhood to ask. :#

  • Can I do pushups like this

  • @webmasteroffers said: I will do pushups if 999 in 9 days

I did the challenge 100 push-ups a day and it's hard to recover, I think you can do up to 1000 a day, but all the muscles will hurt.

  • It seems @yoursunny is trying to bankrupt the PSH currency valuation. Previously 1 PSH was approximately $0.33 and now he's trying to push it down to 1 PSH=$0.01. Clearly he's cashed in his existing PSH and knows someone has been holding onto PSH that he wants to acquire on the cheap.

This is some serious market manipulation folks, and a good example of why alt.coins should never be trusted.

Plank would be 999 minutes, continuous, with a 9lb dumbbell on your back.

I might start this, but if I do it, I can at most do 200 per day. I’ll document and record each one. I just require that I get 4u of space in Antarctica and 50k ipv9 ips when it becomes free.

    Deal?

PS : but for real if you say go, I’ll start tomorrow even with my cold and fever.

For this service transfer offer, there are four buyers in line before you.
If all of them decline, you are next.

If you want to purchase something else, please open a new thread in Requests category.

    Jesus Christ

  • I decided to skip it, will buy a VPS with less cores but with stronger single core.

Please pass it to the next member.

    Thanks

  • My turn but I decided to give up. @mbug is next.

    Transfer completed to @mbug .
    Enjoy ~

@NDTN billing support is very fast.
They completed the request in 8 minutes.

  • @NDTN is prem, super fast support and no cpu steal in my 3 servers

There was a question on why my base price is $111 instead of $109 (plan price $99 plus transfer fee $10).
    It's simply because I'm greedy.

See this comment on how the prices are determined:

Since there's a bounty somewhere, I'm willing to give up my 9999 IL (Chicago) with E5 processor.
I have too much capacity in the region anyway.

Spec is same as listed in top post.
    YABS: see benchmark report
    Host node: 10GbpsKVMIL

    • PayPal $208
    • Venmo Bluebird CashApp $198
    • personal check $204
    • WeChat ¥1456
    • push-ups 9999

Seller covers provider transfer fee and payment gateway processing fee.
I expect the provider to charge a transfer fee for real this time because this is my third transfer; if they don't, I'll refund any excess to stay within the price ceiling allowed by forum rules.
I have confirmed with the provider that $10 transfer fee would be invoiced to me.

    Priority is reserved for:

    1. @denellum

You have 24 hours to claim.
