You can't find low end pricing for nforce. Their traffic is expensive.
I don't try to get into people's heads.
I just look at the results, which is network quality.
I've never said it as a fact, but you only need to look at the prices to know WorldStream has larger profit margins. See how much a server with 32TB of space will cost you at WorldStream. Don't try to swim upstream against common sense.
Amazon Web Services
GCP
Euh... Not really a metric. WS has server-grade hardware, more expensive electricity (not supported from GOV) and we don't how much they pay for drivers and their traffic is more expensive. Hetzner has a lot of desktop grade hardware that is cheaper, and are supported by their gov.
Let C be a configuration that can be roughly found with both providers (Some Ryzen, with X amount of ram and Y drives config).
Hetzner sells C for 59. Worldstream sells it for 90. It does not mean WS has a larger profit margins for sure, as they may have higher running cost.
The only real argument that may validate what you are saying and you haven't even said it yet is that Hetzner does not make discounts even if you have 200 servers. WS on the other side will do big discounts, which may imply there is enough profit margin for them to make a discount.
So yeah, the only real logical argument that may support your claim did not really come from you...
LOL so you're one of those people. No, WS has larger profit margins. Cost is a business choice. So WS chose to buy server-grade hardware instead of consumer grade, they chose more expensive peering, more expensive electricity--- and what? they STILL make enough profit to run the business with higher prices. And if Hetzner gets charity money from the GOV and they still need to raise prices, what does that tell you? WorldStream is just smarter at running the business.
If Walmart sells toothpaste at $4 and Amazon sells the same toothpaste at $3.25, Walmart has larger profit margins. That Walmart has to support 5 brick and mortar stores and Amazon has none but sells everything online is a business choice. Walmart chooses to squander that profit in paying for brick stores and employees with healthcare instead of distribution center and automated robots.

Been dropping peers left and right, closing datacenters, not paying attention to routing changes, etc. Worse network than Hetzner at this point lmao
