I am in the same situation ($15/year for 128MB + 64MB swap with 12GB storage and 500GB/month bandwidth since 2014) however this $12 offer is for 3 years after which it reverts to the regular yearly price which is currently $37.80. The regular price is good for what you get but only worth it over the $15/year forever deal long term if you would use the extra resources.

The coupon term has come up a couple times. The reason I'm not comfortable doing beyond 3 years is due to the uncertainty behind the OpenVZ platform. It is in fact something we do as a legacy infrastructure at this point, and in a few years OpenVZ 7 will be EOL. At this point we will have to decide whether we are going to support a newer version of OpenVZ or potentially discontinue the platform. We have some time to think about it, but the situation could be different in 3 years.

  • One of the best customer support I've had. Got the 2GB NL plan for 18$/y and the results are satisfying. Thank you.

I understand what you're saying, but aren't we talking about discounted pricing and not about prepayment?
Product is paid yearly and from commitment point of view there's no difference in 3 years discount or real "recurring" discount as long product is available.
If you discontinue product in one year or in five years it makes no difference as discount by itself guarantee just discounted price, not life of product which means that in any case there's not commitment above annual payment term.

    I had a 128MB CVZ, VSwap: 128MB, Cores: 1 @ 2.3GHz+, 50GB RAID10 SSD-Cached HDD space with 1 IPv4 Address, 16 IPv6 Addresses and 500GB Bandwidth for $13.92/yr since ~June 2014 for a year.

Picked up one of the 2GB from here. Support is excellent and within a few minutes had adjusted netfilter module for me. Glad to be back with them, within my budget!

    Hi LET!

While I know RamNode fell out of the low-end market quite a few years ago, I heard it's been a while since we ran any low-end specials, so I have a couple for you! Here's what we're offering from now until Oct 31, or until sold out:
