I assume there's no problems with Wireguard though, right?

wireguard is fine, you just need to open a ticket with us so we can enable the kernel modules needed for it to work properly.

  • Hi. Do you allow mining?

It's OpenVZ... Neighbours would waterboard you. Rightfully so.

Umm. I am afraid I am not familiar with that word. What does it mean to "waterboard" someone?

When you are standing on the board walk next to a lake, I push you into the lake.
    It's a great fun.

But just before you are able to push me, I turn around, pick you up and throw you in the water instead. I am after all much larger than you in size. Is this what it means to waterboard someone? If yes then I am afraid I still don't see the correlation of this to VPSes, virtualization, and mining.

We specifically disallow mining per our AUP

I pretend I cannot swim and start sinking like a rock.
You hear police siren from a distance.
Worried that you would be caught for murder, you jump in the lake and grab me.

Don't drink and post, it results in strange posts like this one

  • I have an old 128MB CVZ OpenVZ since 2015 and I'm very happy with RamNode. However, obviously, the price is quite outdated in 2022 for what I'm getting, and I could be very interested in this. Is there any chance you could maintain the IP of my old VPS if I get this new one?

@naifamoodi pulled me out of the lake.
She opened the back of her vehicle, offered me a Diet Coke from her cooler, but I wanted a hot coffee to warm up after getting waterboarded into the cold lake.

So I walked to the nearest Starbucks, only to find an unattended laptop at the corner table, with someone's WHMCS account open.
Inside the account there is a $2.99/year 128MB OpenVZ 6 VPS from 2015, idling with Debian 7.
With a smirk under my face mask, I quietly pressed the big red "request cancellation" button, and selected "immediate" type.

I returned an underutilized IPv4 to the pool and took a vulnerable machine off the Internet, which reduces global warming and makes the world a better place.

I am in the same situation ($15/year for 128MB + 64MB swap with 12GB storage and 500GB/month bandwidth since 2014) however this $12 offer is for 3 years after which it reverts to the regular yearly price which is currently $37.80. The regular price is good for what you get but only worth it over the $15/year forever deal long term if you would use the extra resources.
