Hi ,
I have a server with this nvme device which has "99% percentage used" even though the write and reads are low and this device supposed to have 1600 TBW according to this :

    I think its failing and you must to make all needed backups. Easiest way it to replace it with new one, but where is someone who can repair it. Also in our practice much more reliable manufactures its Samsung and usually we are using NVMe and SSD of Samsung.

    Hi! Could be a firmware bug as well, we had a few Samsung NVMe SSD's counting from 100 % down towards 0, firmware update fixed it.

    I thought percentage used was always pretty much meaningless (nominal amount of disk written to) and only "available spare" was relevant (i.e. percentage of the disk that can be re-written if needed).

    Looks like gigashite optimistically x10’d the marketing/warranty TBW without updating the firmware. Just keep using it until you run into actual issues (errors, depleting available spare, etc). If it ever reports itself as failing then easy warranty claim, but I don’t think at the current stage you can or should RMA it
