My subnet don't have internet at the moment. Most machines are "online" but not connecting internet. If I know there is a working gateway, i may manually point to that one.
Tokyo NVMe improved a lot since the patch? maintenance?
When will Tokyo storage get the same fix?
@JDMcPea - Sorry about that, I fat fingered the DALZ003 & DALZ008 DALZ006
--
@Ademan - I would not trust the "troubleshooting" on Ryzen. On a perfectly working VM I get the following. The O/S is not even correct.
I so agree with you on this.
up & running and connected to internet for 9 full days rn. the gateway is: 149.57.138.1, os Debian 11 ryzen compatible.
I though this was done at the same time as the NVMe nodes on 7/18.
Network looks a lot better to me then before, and with a lot less steal.
I transferred 280 GB to this VM yesterday without a hitch.

Hi, when will San Jose SJCZ004 be back up? He's been offline for 5 days now
Hi @FrankZ, can you please guide me where can I get the information in the picture? I open the Graphs function in the Whmcs but only the network information
Hi @haynhat that graph is not from Whmcs it is from a home grown monitoring panel. I was just showing foitin the before and after for when I though VirMach fixed the networking for the Tokyo storage node.
You're sure about that?
I can burst up to 900+ Mbps both uplink and downlink on NVMe VPS while it's less than 500Mbps on Tokyo storage. Steal is still a problem, just not as horrible as before.
Why did you have 611.7 MB/s send speed to Jakarta? Yours is 10Gbps?
Can you even access your Tokyo storage at the moment?
Benchy misprints speeds as MB/s when it's really Mbps
Yes as shown by the timestamp on the Benchy above. Although the network was unreachable for me for about two hours earlier today, between 3 & 5 pm CDT, VPS was up just not the network.
EDIT: I saw that it just went down again 7 minutes before I posted this.
I noted VNC connection info and I cant connect via VNC either.
VLAN reconfig? Storage VPS will have the IP changed as well?
Thanks! Good to know.
Any thoughts on next steps I should take? Like I said my ticket has been open for over 2 weeks now with no response. 2 weeks+ of downtime would be awfully painful on its own, but with zero communication that's something else entirely. I realize VirMach is a budget service, but I don't feel I'm asking too much to at least get some status within 2 weeks of unplanned outage.
I filed my current ticket as a "ryzen issue", should I file one as an outage report instead? DALZ004 has never been included on the network status page so far.
@Ademan - I am seeing comments that DALZ004 was working on July 7th and I have messaged the poster to see if his VM on DALZ004 is still working at this time. Figure we can make sure the node is up first then go from there. Am I correct in assuming that you do not wish to attempt to reinstall the VPS?
Don't add or bump tickets, as I expect they will just be merged and dropped to the bottom of the queue.
It's up now but the speed is still not as good as NVMe VPS.

what was the price for tokyo storage? damn im now HDDHUNGRY
I would assume that there would be a bit more traffic on a storage node then a NVMe one. So I would not expect the bandwidth availability to improve much until the 10gb NIC is installed. But what do I know, VirMach could have something up his sleeve.
Side note: I transferred that 280 GB yesterday with a ~20mb/s speed limit, so I am compelled to ask why do you find 400 mb/s to be restrictive?
--
Pre-order sale price I paid was 465GB storage $40 for 2 years. It is more now.
My local network is symmetrical 1Gbps best effort.
10:30 AM is off peak hour so the speed is usually 700Mbps +
Plus the 150Mbps upload speed is what bothers me the most.
Tokyo storage is dead for a short while, it isn't stable, can you check it.
I can now see why this makes more of a difference to you than me. Living in a backwater small city of a 3rd world county, I only have asymmetrical 10mb/s down, 500kb/s up. And my backups move between servers at 20 mb/s.
I hope that VirMach gets that 10 Gb/s NIC in for you soon. Not much else I can say.
Not dead. It has not even rebooted. Network is just flapping in and out.
Well. 1Gbps is the default symmetrical speed for FTTB. There's 2Gbps 5Gbps and even 10Gbps but the area is very limited.
It's decent at off peak hours but equally congested at peak time.
Some dodgy ISP can be as slow as 5Mbps from 7:00 PM to midnight. It's not cheap either, market price is usually 6k yen/mon. Even at this historically low weak yen era, it's still about 45 USD/mon plus stupid "construction fee and labor cost" in installment.
10Gbps is also an overkill for me. Just wish the congestion and CPU steal issue could be completely fixed like the NVMe VPS.

Will this VPS be available again?
Thanks, @FrankZ
The first post says "This will be the lowest prices we will offer for Ryzen, over the next 12 months." and this deal is no longer available. So check back March 2023.
Yes, I already unmount any ISO. I double checked from SolusVM.
Try to boot from SolusVM as well, but the state remain OFFLINE.
In SolusVM, my node shown as : RYZE.AMS-D026.VMS
what are you using for monitoring? that graph looks nice.
I can confirm that node AMSD026 is currently working, as my VM on this node has been up for 18 days.

I roll my own monitoring systems, and most other things. The graph above is done using Apex charts which is open source.
Thanks for your confirmation @FrankZ. Maybe it is specifically occurred on my VM. I think only @VirMach could help for now because I already follow all suggestion, except reinstall my OS, which is not in my plan.
I created a Ticket #563890
@FrankZ my ip:185.97.146.236, Can't access control center,
The page says "Operation Timed Out After 90001 Milliseconds With 0 Bytes Received",
Did you try to vnc even if it says offline? One of my VMs shows as offline but is actually booted up and works for past 2 weeks
