Where to find businesses to buy or invest?

HannanHannan Member, Host Rep

Hi guys,

I was wondering where can find businesses to buy or invest? I know https://flippa.com/ for example. (there are many scams over there though) but if you know any other places or how to find them?

Cheers,

You can always play with futures in crypto BTC. Either have a great time or a very terrible one. Never invest what you cannot afford to lose. In fact I would say stay away from it if you can.

Disagree with that opinion on which one is better. But is true that crypto market is more volatile , that could be good or bad depending the season.

Yes I mean shares can be more stable overall if you invest multiple quality stocks (until big crash every 10 years so ) .

Isn't this the nature of investing?
Usually the price of an investment reflects the expectations for the future.
If this never goes down.. I would be seriously concerned.

take out a $800k loan, buy bitcoin, hopes it goes back to 60k + in the next few years while you pay back your loans while working.

You get 2.4m back if this succeeds.

People who have $800k loans don't ask such questions on LET :)

I got offered a decent sum on a domain name once. I've been sitting on it for like 7 years.

    So... maybe that?

@Hannan wait... why you lost it all? Unless you went margin/futures and got liquidated. But assuming that spot trading was the thing you did (actually buying the coin) if you are still holding that, then you haven't lost it. 32K is not that far from current price (23K).

Open to ideas, but more looking to acquire a business and make improvements to it. A decent outcome and some impact would satisfy me :)
