Any good VPS/DS in Ukraine

Hello, my homeland Kherson currently occupied by russian hordes. They cut all ukrainian ISPs and put all traffic via russian servers which are blocking mostly all ukrainian websites including Meta.
And i'm looking for lowcost linux vps/ds in Ukraine to use it as vpn server. Any suggestions?
p.s. Yes i know that i can use vpn provides but i wish to set my own.

G-Corelabs however price hiked and cheap packages removed.

We use these guys for Route48 in UA.

Great service, their website is a little... not that flash, but they are great people behind it.

    ITLDC

You maybe want to avoid G-Core as it is Russian-owned.

G-Core is registered in Luxembourg with an office in Lithuania. If the employees are not mainly in Russia anymore does this still matter? Owners and employees could be Russian but if they're not physically in Russia anymore I don't know if that matters.

ITL is cheaper, Ukrainian owned and has been in business for decades, so it seems like a better choice for a cheap VPN, except for the fact that Russian services are likely censored. Censorship is more unlikely in the case with G-Core but I have not checked.

UDN is a bit more expensive but should also be a solid choice.

If I see those kind of websites I fall in love instantly. Straight to the point information instead of stupid flashy distraction.

I agree but not being able to order a 6 dollar service without getting in contact probably kills the conversion rate.

Fully agree about the design though, love it.

They do. I had a chat with their staff, and they said that the Kyiv DC is fine.

I am using some servers from friendhosting. There was some offers in the past VDS Micro about 16 USD per Year. They are still valid.
    https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/175317/friendhosting-ltd-black-friday-2021-55-discount-vds-from-1-2-month

The main problem is that the internet connectivity is currently soo slow.
I think cause of the war in this region.

    Stay safe

GCorelabs was splitted into two companys one of them is Luxembourg-based and serves only non-Russian customers and Russia-based one which serves only Russian customers at higher prices.

I said Russian-owned, which is true.

G-Core has had the LU company for as long as I remember. Just when the war started they felt like it was a smart move to separate the brand and maybe to try avoid people associating them.

By the way I have absolutely nothing against G-Core or any Russian-owned company, just stating the facts. If I as an Ukrainian wanted a VPN to avoid Russian monitoring/censorship, I would prefer to rent from a company which does not have a sister company working for the Russian government like it is the case here.

Finally, EdgeCenter does not have higer prices for Russian customers, at least if we talk about VPS. I have a RU account and the smallest VPS is about 6€/3m at the current exchange rate.

That's their ex 88 rouble plan, which got price hiked to 140 RUB (orderable in 3 month increments in both cases). That one has a bandwidth limit and only 7 GB of disk space.

If you look at what's sold on gcorelabs.com for VPS, there you get unmetered 200 Mbit and 20 GB disk for 3.25 EUR/mo. The same on EdgeCenter costs 546 roubles -- or about 8.4 EUR.

Big thanks! That one worked for me as expected, ordered the lowest VPS config for $14.5 semi-annually.
However also tried https://www.urdn.com.ua their same the lowest VPS, but found a big problem. I was unable to connect directly to VPS because some side blocked internet traffic either ru or ua to each other. I was able to reach VPS only with proton vpn.

    Hold on Kherson!

p.s. Херсон звільнять обов'язково! Слава ЗСУ!

Just like every russian IT company.
    Yandex is registered in Netherlands
Kaspersky Lab is registered in UK (as holding)
    And so on...

Very interesting, can you give further details? Via PM if needed.

We have other users from Kherson, there is no report of direct connection problems, yet...

They re-branded their Russian-language division, I imagine something to do with sanctions - https://edgecenter.ru/

    +1 for ITLDC - https://itldc.com/en/
I have a VM from them (Kyiv) and it's really stable. I haven't any serious issue with them.
And I not experienced any outage since this war situation started..

This is interesting, I didn't realise the Russians were sending in network engineers too
