I think they're trying their best to perform a "VLAN too big probably" dance.

Well you still believe clients abusing your network instead of side effect caused by UDP accelerate software. Do some research on KCPTUN and Hysteria, these are widely popular used in PRC to improve network quality. The side effect is every VPS in the VLAN can receive others' broadcast, the packets increase exponentially when the VLAN is big. A big VLAN works fine only if no one abuse or uses these kind of UDP accelerate software, this is impossible since these tools invented. The way to solve is isolate each trunk using PVLAN (Setup on switch/router) or isolate each VPS using OVS (Setup on Node system). Anyway glad to see you noticed and trying to solve this issue, good luck. :o

I read the GitHub homepage of KCPTUN and Hysteria.
They can tunnel TCP over UDP-based protocol.
How could they cause an increase on broadcast traffic?

"Increase exponentially" should have been the giveaway he doesn't know wtf he's talking about.

I just figured out your problem. Virmach's system is failing to parse your tickets due to lack of spaces after commas. Congratulations, you're like the first person on the Internet to apparently do this.

LowEndTalk is not just a place to get insane deals, it is also a place where we can see and get first-hand information on providers' learning journeys.

Those aggressive comments are not helping anything or anyone, why not give some support to the provider? I believe the constant support and constructive feedback is what motivates small businesses to work harder and give back to the community.

VirMach is one of the very few providers who are still able to provide insanely low-priced services at a LARGE scale. I am still not sure to this day what motivates him to do so. Just do the maths, you will find it very hard to be profitable. Sometimes I even wonder if VirMach is a millionaire and just doing all this as a charity for fun.

I also want to take this opportunity to say thanks VirMach for keeping everything going to the best of your ability. The services are actually rather stable over the past 4 years of me using it, while I agree there's always room for improvements, it is good enough for my use case.

@VirMach When will the Tokyo storage server be activated?

Just ask for a refund already man, I don't know what you're trying to achieve here or how you expect asking for update will somehow resolve your issue. Assume that we never offered it, get your money back. Why are you choosing to wait for it and then at the same time extremely upset about the wait, something you are fully deciding to do at this point?

Clearly this pre-order is delayed and we clearly have not been a reliable source for updates on them so why not just get a refund? There's no catch, you can get all your money back for the storage pre-order.

My purpose is to make you very unhappy because you delayed me for three months, that's my purpose

Heck. Maybe virmach should active your service and follow terms and AUP strictly. I'm 100% sure you'll be suspended for network/CPU/IO abuse within few days so that virmach don't need to refund you at all!

Oh, I forgot about that. I am going to transfer my high dollar website to SEAZ004 and then fill out a ticket right after saying that SEAZ004 is down so the clock starts ticking. Now I just need to find my scissors so I can cut that string holding things together. /s

With griefers/whiners like @Tokyom , no node is safe from MJJ abuses, especially after the free (or nearly free) Ryzen migration.

hi, virmach, since the pre-sale of ryzen in Japan and the launch of ryzen servers in other regions in March, do you have enough sleep every day? A greeting from virmach customers, will there be any plans for low-price flash sales on Black Friday this year?

Event the Ryzen preorder isn't halfway finished yet and you want to know about BF deals?

Are you really concerned about his sleep (= physical) and mental health or do you only care for unsustainable deals?

You mean you wanna confess? to what? being a griefer?

If I was virmach, your account wouldn't have survived April 23.

Also looking at your stupid ID, you've ever lived in Tokyo? Of course not!
If you behaved like what you did here in Tokyo, you'd be blacklisted months ago without refund. Refunding intangible items like VPS rental service is a luxury in Japan. No refund policy is the norm here, unlike EU providers.

You better appreciate the refund offer, take your money back, GTFO and never come back.
