@VirMach
But what you're actually achieving is making an idiot of yourself.
We all get to have fun laughing at you, so keep it up.

Best invite on this thread. How can you resist, @Mods ?
When will your cloud storage be back in stock, current is pre-order.
Did you get so angry you passed out and your face fell on the keyboard?
LOLOLOLOL!
I think the mods should give their customer what he's asking for. He's been here endlessly demanding just that.

Don't you think you should move to other provider? This one scams and fraud you, do not refund because Paypal (WAT?) and wasted your money. Really.
Wow, imagine getting Frankfurt before it's even set up. I'd be upset too.
Since you posted a rude comment (see https://lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3433980/#Comment_3433980 ) after receiving a severe warning, I've increased the length of your warning to 14 days
I'm trying to give you a chance to change your behavior so that I don't have to ban you
If someone provokes or attacks you for no justified reason, flag their post and we will try to address the problem
Would be nice if you respond to tickets
Just received a suspension email:
But... the node doesn't even have a routable IP address (It is the issue where the service is still on CC IP and migrated to Ryzen) Oh well.
(This is the planned migration, basically my VPS on NYC is still showing CC IP, bandwidth never increase ever since migrated, so shouldn't have any routable IP, yet I contributed to node overload...?)
This was trying to boot into Windows 2008 or something like that, and bursting to 300-800% CPU and lagging out the node. It wasn't the only one, and I also had to deal with a network abuser. It's possible the network abuser is specifically bruteforcing other VMs on the nodes and maybe going after VNC passwords instead of SSH.
Just a lot of guesses but it would make sense. Anyway, I spent several hours today doing a deep dive to really clean up the nodes, probably suspended a few hundred of his accounts/VMs. It should clean up network as well on a lot of nodes.
It might be possible, it was on Windows 2008 and planned migration to NYC. Before migration it was in Offline state, I only turn it Online when needed to experimenting with stuff. Could be turned on after migration and stuck in some boot loop due to incompatibility with Ryzen.
Should I submit an appeal ticket?
Yeah, submit appeal. It's not a big deal as long as you're ready to use it and it's not stuck in a boot loop.
Deal Compiler Extraordinaire's VPS got suspended.

The temple of Dragon King, the god of water and weather, is flooded.
Don't worry, I fully understand this is not intended, just find it funny with the amount of idle VPS I have I would ever receive a suspension

It seems like with the E5 to Ryzen migrations we have to try to pay closer attention to boot-up CPU usage and flag incompatibilities down for older operating systems, maybe changing some CPU settings or customizing KVM config. Getting flashbacks to OpenVZ to KVM migration issues.
For these so far I've tried to do a powerdown and ticket first but that node you were on was trying to die really hard and I had already been forced to reboot it twice.
If customer compiled anything with
-march=native, the binary would be specific to the E5 processor and will enter a crash loop if launched on a different processor. There's nothing you can do from hypervisor side.
Thus, give @FrankZ his button!
Always delete data and force reinstall.
Always delete data and force reinstall.
Yeah, one of the many reasons we kept old operating systems away from using native but everyone used the SolusVM "feature" to change to native. I don't think the newer operating systems have as much of a problem with it, whether or not they should but that's just from vague memories.
Just checked AS23959's IPv4 prefixes, and Virmach seems to have A LOT OF IP addresses there.
Yeah, we pay way more for them than I care to admit. And to think we could have actually got a virtually free /16 block from ARIN if we sent them a CSV of all our customer's personal billing details like 6 years ago. (We said no.)

The Switch IP button disappeared on sjcz002, when will it come back?

When MJJ stops abusing the buttons, we'll get the buttons back.
You can't buy in person.
Why? That shit is too old in 2022.
