No high I/O information, the monster test currently has no shutdown problems.
But Disk Speed Average 102.6 MB/s? It doesn't seem normal
I have a similar VPS on DENZ001 and when running a monster I show
So you are slow in comparison.
I wonder if @VirMach has one of those XPG NVMe in node DENZ002 which may be having issues?
Well it does not look like I will be much help on this one.
If it was me I would double check it in a few hours just to make sure.
It seems that it should be a hard disk problem. I just tried "hdparm -t /dev/vda1", and the shutdown problem also occurs. Just waiting to see if it can be fixed.
I am sure that when Virmach shows up he will see this conversation. You have given enough info to see what is going on and we have tagged him.
If the NVMe is the problem I expect he will want to fix it just as much as you want it to be fixed.
I wish you a good day.

OK
Anyone know which US location come with ipv6?
@VirMach
I got an email notification (in Friday, 2:47 pm) about one of my VPS will be migrated to a new datacenter on Sunday. (I not requested any service migration, I was happy with my old services but OK). I chosed (reserved) the location and IP address with the [Ryzen Migrate] button on the WHMCS - because I wanted the new VM on the same location - and my original VPS went offline/unreachable immediately.
I got the new IP address, and the login informations by email, but the new VPS was unreachable. I got the following error via the VNC:
"Booting from hard disk.. Boot failed: not a bootable disk."I tried to reinstall the OS (Debian) on the SolusVM panel. After the 'success' reinstall process the VPS still unreachable. This time I got a 'kernel panic' error message via the VNC on the newly installed VPS. I tried to reinstall twice. I used the same OS - Debian - on the old VM (maybe not the same version).
(old node name: ATLKVM5, new node name: ATLZ006)
Ticket ID: #495381 (not a priority ticket)
So i'm now not happy
There are none that I know of at the moment. VirMach has said in the past that at first one IPv6 address will be assigned to each VPS in all locations after everything else is done. So it will probably happen, but not to be expected too soon. IIRC subnets of IPv6 are still up in the air.
@titus if I may make a suggestion. Try installing Debian 6 template from the billing panel. It will not boot. Wait 15 minutes, then install the latest Debian template from the billing panel and see if it boots. Do not use the SolusVM templates for this.
EDIT: Install from ISO seem to work from billing panel in Atlanta ATLZ007.
Templates not so much.
The HTML VNC in the billing panel works too.
Color me impressed.
Also try reading my post on the same subject.
Same location, same symptoms, different node.
Supplementary log:
IPv6 is on ATLZ00x
Oh, I saw memes about CC and ipv6 few page before and I through we got v6 already
Really cool. I have updated my info. Thank you.
I've migrated my ATL VPS over to Ryzen now so to better know what the differences are at this location compared to the others.
I do not see any IPv6 on ATL-Z007, but I did get 4 PB of transfer so that is a plus
For reference this is the post @AlwaysSkint was referring to
FrankZ is very helpful!
@VirMach This is RYZE.SJC-Z004.VMS node in SanJose. Don't you think it's great? >:(
Weird. I migrated my Atlanta instance yesterday and pretty sure I used the Debian template fine.
I tried Debian 6 and Centos 7 and I got nothing. Like it did not even try to install from template. Which Debian template did you use? From the billing panel or SolusVM. Atlanta seems to be a little different then other locations, but I just migrated so I am still checking it out.
Ok, so the attempt to install Debian 6 from template maybe did unlock the CPU pass-thru and AES-NI as I see it is enabled after the install from the Centos 7 minimal ISO. Or maybe it is enabled by default at this location, not sure.
YABS looks stellar ..
You are on fire!VirMach should pay you!
Glad you find it a positive. I think I and others here just do this to be helpful and so Virmach can have a little more time to do the really important things which makes everything better for all of us.
You are awesome man.
Let's see if if I can get my hands on Ryzen on my special offer VPS before June or July. It seems it might take some time.
Its like the OpenVZ to KVM migration all over again
Looks beautiful
@FrankZ
Thank You for Your suggestion! Made my mood happy
I was able to install an older Debian version manually.
1.) changed the boot order (CD, HDD)
2.) mounted an older Debian version (Debian 8, because sadly I got a various error message when I tried install a newer)
3.) installed step by step via the VNC
4.) unmounted the ISO and changed the boot order (HDD, CD), reboot
5.) The VM looks like working fine
(The first version: Install from a template on the billing panel not worked me too)

Otherwise interesting for me, they limited the reinstall numbers on the billing panel:
198.12.121.*
My monitor sent an alert that the node with this prefix went offline. Is it time for an automatic migration?
I haven't got IPv6 to my VPS (node: ATLZ006 / RYZE.ATL-Z006.VMS)
But the notification email what I received in friday include this:
"IPv6 availability, coming soon. You will be able to add an IPv6 address to your service in the coming weeks"

My server is transferred from a friend. I don't want to wait for a moment The account before the refund can still be returned to the designated account. I can apply for it. Thank you for your exception. I don’t want to wait for a moment.
Yeah, right.
Translation: impatient a.f.
After migrating to NL
Thanks Virmach!
hahahahahaa
Expect that to be adjusted by 1/1000 in the future.
