Naturally the 384 were ordered first. It was the highest quantity sold and sold out quickly first. This doesn't mean we went out of our way to only activate the lower RAM first.
With that said for some reason most of the ones that did not auto deploy were 2560. I still do not know why.
It's definitely not how it was coded out. The code did not weigh anything bases on the plan size. It was coded as quickly as possible and without any fancy options. It just went based on whatever appeared in the database first. So we're still trying to figure out what went wrong but in any case these will be activated as soon as there's more space either on a new server or as space opens up on an old one. We don't want to overfill nodes.

The percentage may vary depending on the plan, but it doesn't make sense to think about it
There's definitely at least around 100 of these that didn't activate that should have activated. I can confirm that. As in, services that had an older purchase date. And most of them are 2560.
With that said, the vast majority of March 12 orders did activate as expected.
Most of 1536 have not been activated, and many of 1401xxx have not been activated. In fact, I don't believe that the remaining 3% of our users are in this order.
I expected my vps activated last and finally it is

I just ran the numbers again but this is still an estimate, to get super accurate numbers we have to run too many different queries at this point. We also figured out the issue with the script. Including all the new orders from the other sale we posted, and manual reviews, and the ones stuck from the initial run of the script we are closer to 91% and if we subtract out manual reviews and new sales to go back to the original method of calculation (remember, original calculation doesn't include manual review or the new sale), then a little bit lower than 97% so instead of 3% then there's maybe around 5% left.
Keep in mind we're overdue running through another queue of refunds so I'd suspect that will get us closer to the original estimate. I'll provide a final update after we do.
We are thinking about coding something tomorrow afternoon which allows some people to recreate on the new nodes in Tokyo (optional) to help even out the plans since too many 384MB and 768MB plans ended up on the initial batch of servers. This should also give people complaining about a certain node they are on to be recreated if we do end up proceeding with that idea.

If your vps is on node SJCZ003 or SJCZ007 then it's because they are down and awaiting maintainace.
