    yes, I have successfully installed almalinux & debian. But I still fail to install ubuntu, even though using netboot.xyz, because it can't boot from the hard drive

    You don't have to use netboot.xyz.
    I thought netboot.xyz was for providers who don't support custom iso.
    Ubuntu 20.04 also has net install iso (mini.iso)

    I forgot that this does not require changing the boot order.

    1. Connect via VNC
    2. Login via SSH and run these

    We're OK with processing refunds and also OK with provisioning them ASAP, it's up to the customers. Every step of the way, we tried to do it as fast as possible and we're very close to the finish line for Tokyo. Even if we wanted to activate all of them quickly and then deal with issues, there is still so many that can be created physically. If the nodes overload, the creations will naturally stop. If too many create, SolusVM will crash, and so on.

    I think we're going as fast as we can right now while keeping them stable and that's working out better. More activations will occur after 1PM Tokyo time, when datacenter hands fix the IPMI issue with the other two servers. And by then the other nodes should calm down more to where they can activate more.

    @VirMach Hi，Node 39 has been fixed, when will you take your precious time to fix node 33 and node 40? Please don't discriminate against Chinese customers, they are the majority of your customers. And MJJ is not just a nickname for Chinese customers, MJJ represents the majority of consumers who are looking for value for money no matter what country! Thank you!

    An honest question, since the problem is too many users being activated/benchmarking at one time, what sense does that make? "My kitchen is on fire, I'll solve the problem by setting fires in the living room and bedroom."

    finally I was able to install Ubuntu 20.04 on node TYO-C040, using a custom iso, http://jp.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu, and did a full update & upgrade

    network speed is still low, but enough for me.
    this is the result of bench.sh

    Correct, I don't have a script to activate pre-orders here but I'm looking through them. There aren't that many of these but I think I can do a database query and ensure they're created tonight.

    Most people appear to be able to boot just fine, I'll check the rest.

    Datacenter misunderstood our instructions to reset IPMI, we're waiting for an update here. I'm going through right now and testing all offline services first to see why they're offline and fixing them if necessary. I'm also taking a manual look at abuse and frozen services on all these nodes to clear them up.

    Then I'll check back for a response from the datacenter.

    I'm looking into this now, there's going to be a longer update. You didn't do something wrong, there's definitely something wrong here now.
