Adopt a laisser-faire attitude towards MJJs and allow Chinese posts. Traffic quadrupled.
Yup.
Then they wonder why Chinese get a bad rep.
Node TYOC033, shows "No Bootable Device" in VNC, anyone has the same problem?
Maybe this can help you.
Seems TYOC033 have issues, it show as many disk IO errors in VNC, and can't boot from boot disk
Ahh, this may explain the repetitiveness (sarcasm):
https://lowendtalk.com/search?Search=TYOC033+error
Zero results. Must be good to go, then.
Reinstalled AlmaLinux and the status became offline, waited a few minutes and tried again but still the same. VNC connect failed either (code:1011). What should I do?
Find a good spot in the middle of Tiananmen Square?
Why would it help to know how many have been done and how many are to be done? In not a single way. You are asking for something that I'd not share companywise, because it is one of the things that could make your competition give insight in how you do things.
In that manner @Virmach has already been quite open, more as I'd expect from a company.
completely same with you, @VirMach could you please help check it? Node TYOC033, thank you.
I can connect it at begin, but suddenly connection lost and can't connect again, there are many IO errors in VNC, when I tried to reinstall it, it's keeping Offline and can't boot.

@VirMach My server located in Node 33 is unable to be booted, reinstalled or connected via VNC.It has wasted too much time. Please help me reinstall any available OS,thanks.
I've read every single comment in this thread. My eyes have been bleeding tired for days now. I don't want to even imagine how VirMach feels.
Although it is relatively meaningless coming from me, I have really appreciated how some members, including you and @tototo have been so helpful to others in this thread. I have tried to thank them all for their contribution. LET should really think of adding something like a "Helpful Member" tag, to encourage this type of behavior. @FAT32
I'm quite releaved to see your message. It was already a couple of hours ago since you repeated yourself and sent the same message, so I was really a bit upset and wondering if something bad happened to you.
But you're back now, and that's good to see. Looking forward to the same message in a couple of hours again!
I for one appreciate your sarcasm and logic, but I do not expect it will have your desired results. Just saying....
What message? I clearly can't see it. Maybe if he posts it again a few more times I may be able to see it.
My expected result is bringing a bit of a smile onto faces of people who actually care and are as frustrated as me by the mentality or ability to read of a number of people in this thread.
I don't have the illusion people will stop posting the same message over and over again, because they've already proven not to read what is being said, so even if they would have the mental ability to understand the sarcasm, they would probably miss the whole message anyway.
@VirMach could you please help check TYOC033? seems some vps can't boot and have much IO errors
No one can see what's happening with node 40? Ridiculous!!!

Sorry I can't see it. Please post again.

First of all, I am sorry my post was not helpful.
In most of the cases I have seen in this thread, it has worked (e.g. this one), but not seems in this case.
My other idea is to add swap (especially useful with 384MB RAM), but it may not be effective on machines with more RAM.
By the way, as you know, if many users get I/O errors at the same time, the load on the node can increase exponentially, resulting in even more errors.
You may be in a hurry, but I think it is ultimately best to take the machine offline and wait/check for posts from other users or VirMach. (Often, VirMach posts very important updates here)
In the case of problems that can only be solved by VirMach, quiet threads will result in a quicker fix. This is because VirMach can concentrate on solving the trouble -- according to my experience last week, problems related to templates (for example).
(Of course, the reports about what errors occurred and when is useful, but messages like "please help" and "fix it" often hide other useful messages...)
Where are these people from where the concept of sarcasm does not exist?
Omg @bluecat is actually an AI Spam Bot Advanced on steroids xD
@VirMach It looks like the network speed in tokyo 039 has improved a lot.Not quite perfect, but thanks anyway for your patience and hardwork
you just make me and 200 ppl to run yabs again!
Looks better for the last hour or so.
Standing up infrastructure on the other side of the world where there are all sorts of complications, such as shipping, customs, language barrier, differences in process, differences in datacenter norms, etc, is a challenge.
Seeing Virmach go the route of expanding to Tokyo, especially at the price point they offer their services at, is pretty neat.
Wish them good luck on that expansion and I'd say give them a little slack as they work through the pain points on this project.
Small network bench
Most likely eating up all the network bandwidth from node40... That would explain why the replies come in faster after the upgrade to 40G... Because we all know that even though the uplink of node40 is still 1G, you would expect to get the full 40G for yourself.
looking good, could be lesser tester now
