Cool, welcome!
Thanks, but this is the best offer we can do right now. Maybe in the future with different type of hardware, but we like to keep the quality high.
when node uplink is really 50Gbit, why then VPSes do not share with 10Gbit uplinks but only 1G? this does not give me sense
especially when monthly traffic is relatively quite low (1TB of data) (when someone would be wanting misuse 10g, then his monthly traffic is within 15 minutes gone)
This is promo package so they want to upsell to higher package. There are plans with 5Gbit 10Gbit 20Gbit on their site.
It's really 50 Gbit/s:
This node is specifically for LET, with 1G uplink we can almost ensure that everyone gets 1G uplink on their VM. We simply cannot offer larger uplinks per VM with this pricing.
I think 1TB is plenty with this premium transit. But if you feel it's really too low for your use, then contact us and we will see what we can do!
That's not really our goal, but the packages on our website are simply bigger packages and thus more expensive. For now we prefer to sell our LET package so people here can taste premiumness
Theory anyway. I've benchmarked quite many"1Gb/s" VPS from quite many providers and I have rarely seen real 1 Gb/s. Typical reason(s) might be that say dual 1Gb/s ports divided by number of VMs on the node leaves far less than 1 Gb/s/VPS and/or BW management (read: limitation) kicks in way below 1 Gb/s for more than say 1 min.
So, the really relevant point with those @Hybula VPS is not "why can't I have 10 Gb/s" (to which the easy answer is "because there are more than 5 VPS on the node").
The really relevant point is that the node has 50Gb/s physical port speed (and not 2x1 or 2x2.5 or, if you are lucky 2x10), so your VPS's 1 Gb/s is basically guaranteed speed always actually available.
With most other VPS on LET you'll be lucky to get half of that reliably and consistently. That's not criticism, after all this is LET. The simple truth (in my view anyway) is that Hybula doesn't really belong here because they are everything but low-end. So, IMO the adequate view is to see this promo as a glimpse into high-end hosting at a kind of low-end price.
That said, I have a few other systems (both dedi and VPS) with real 1 Gb/s port speed but I, like most, rarely use even just 1/4 of that. Oh and those do not even come close to the Hybula connectivity results.
Never forget: The difference between what 90+% of people think they need and what they actually really need is a major source of income for providers (at least in the low and mid end. In the high end segment one highly likely has to really deliver to specs).

@ThinVps thanks for the tests.

Thank you for choosing us, we've received your ticket!
Ticket #5612509 :-)
Interesting offer and good first impression
Thank you for your order, ticket received.
Don't hesitate, just try it!
Okay it's almost weekend, let's improve this deal!
FREE TRAFFIC UPGRADE TO 2 TB FOR 24 HOURS!
Even applicable for existing orders.
Just open a ticket here with your LET username and reply the ticket ID in this topic to get it validated.
Hi, What will happen if I buy in 24h and also get one of the 20x 2TB?
Another question "is it possible to receive the Goodie by shipping to an address in Europe even though I am in Asia?"
Thanks
Is it possible to purchase 3 VPS of this LET package on different nodes? I want to have high availability in case of node failure.
Don't think so. I asked as well and shipping costs were mentioned - although I'm in Norway (which is within EEA, but not technically part of EU and not listed on DPD). I doubt shipping to Asia is any cheaper.
I can have a 3rd party service to receive the package. I believe that they have a few receive locations such as Germany
Same ticket as above for this! - #5612509 :-)
You will be getting the 2.5 Gbit/s upgrade then (if you are a winner). For now we are only able to ship using DPD to EU countries. Anything outside the EU requires more work. Also shipping costs are very expensive in the Netherlands.
Currently we have only assigned one node for this LET deal and only this node is available. As said this will be a limited deal, we don't have plans to either lower the price or improve the deal.
@Decicus Sorry that we couldn't ship to Norway, hope that you are happy with your upgrade though!
@iKeyZ received your ticket, thanks.
@Hybula I have 3 orders. 3 tickets are 8025535 0887156 5748883
the connectivity is excellent to use as a cdn node.
LOL; sometimes being quick isn't the best option ;-). My ticket #3657184 is still available with the information, and extending my VPS to 2T traffic would be nice
The first one that bought 3 VMs, three times blessed thank you.
Maybe test it out properly by getting a VM?
@Calypso all done, thanks again!
Yes, their connectivity is in a wholly different and higher league and as I already hinted I have the suspicion that Hybula somehow got aliens in their crew ...
Just bought one!

Cheers @Hybula
@Falzo i wonder how you’ve been resisting temptation for this one.

Cheers! @Hybula
Yep. Looks very interesting but I am all set in NL for now and given the specs vs price I am afraid I am with @debaser - not lowend enough.
Maybe 50% on easter or next BF?
Welcome and thank you!
Cheers! Ticket received.
I am wondering the same...
Cheers! Ticket received.
We are not lowend, only our price is. Hope to see you as a customer one day
Regarding the price/discount, this is going to be the lowest we will go because we only offer sustainable plans (also keep in mind the price of IPv4 and branded hardware).
