If $100/year is too much to pay someone to store your most sensitive data securely, you could try storing your private keys on pastebin. That way you can get to them from anywhere.

For some countries, $100usd can already buy a virgin.

Rookie mistake. Go for the pro.

  • juicessh with paid upgrade.

  • connectbot (mobile) + cli ssh client (desktop) with key-pair stored on self-hosted nextcloud that regularly backed up to storage vps.

How are you backing up nextcloud?

Termius come for free with my GitHub Student. :d

Isnt it just for two years? Or it is permanent deal?

I don't know, I have been using it since April of 2019, maybe as long as I'm a student.

How to verify us being a student over the years?

You resubmit for GitHub student, most of the time they verify your email is still valid or not. Or you can buy student email cough illegal cough from school admins.

You would need to upload your ID card with validity date.

Nah, I just need to verify my email. No ID required.

wtf, have they increased the price so much now?
I've been paying them $6/yr since years ago, and my memory still stops there.

    rclone

  • I'm using Royal TSX under MacOSX for years. It also supports other systems.

    That's a good price!

    If I start paying now:

    "Premium
    $8.33
    per month
    when paid annualy
    $9.99 when paid monthly"

    Run a script that does:

    • uses healthcheck.io for monitoring the backup
    • put uptime robot into maintenance mode
    • put nextcloud in maintenance mode
    • dump database to datestamped sql
    • Borg backup data and sql dump
    • take nextcloud out of maintenance
    • put UR monitoring back to normal

Your ssh terminal shouldn't really have anything to do with your backups.

    I didn't ask about ssh terminal :)

I use cloudron and have backups set that way. I was wondering if there was a more efficient way.

I quit using termius when I figured out Tabby terminal is far better. Moreover, it's an open-source one <3

Tabby remembers open tabs where I left off.

  • Termius is best except price...
On PC, using putty. On mobile, one time setup, then keep it.
All VMs using same username and private key. It's just ok.

I used to try Termius I like its but Terminus it's not free and my school isn't in github academy programs. So I have to go back to Putty.

But when I know Tabby from you. It's free and I loved its so much.
    Thank you.
