sadly it seems this silicon shortages will not end in 2022. talk to Dustin, maybe they have some room to squeeze you in.

The shortages are so real, in various industries too. We're committed to expanding, so I expect to see more Ryzen soon :)

Glad to hear that. Ryzen in Europe will be amazing! Generally Ryzen lineup in RN always has been a great product and they have very good performance.

I wonder if another datacenter is planned... like in germany or poland or so

If so, i'd like a ticket to enter xD

Tbh i'd like to visit a datacenter, maybe even get a tour, would record and put on yt xD

I wonder how much it takes to get a datacenter tour 😂

If you're in LA, we can provide you with a tour, including a visit to our office :)

Hm. I was gonna try to do a budget road trip to Florida this year with some friends but this makes me want to come to California instead. :D

Beautiful California vs. Good ole muggy Florida. Let's goo! The choice is clear.

They both beat Wisconsin especially in the winter. My one buddy did voice some interest in going to California and some southwest states instead of Florida, so we shall see what happens.

If you enjoy hiking, I can't recommend Utah enough! I've never actually been to California before but it sounds like I need to make the journey! Gotta go buy Dustin that drink.

I've never been to Utah, but someday I hope to visit most of the states. I've been stuck in Wisconsin most of my life, in 2019 I made a spur of the moment road trip to Florida in a $300 car I bought. Travelled 4400 miles total over 2 weeks. People couldn't believe the car I was driving ('96 Grand Am 3100 2 door, I got it at 99k miles and replaced the intake gaskets, fuel lines, brake lines, and some other misc things in my garage). It made the trip no problem besides the transmission not having a cooler and getting hot after long runs of 100mph on them Florida interstates (damn they drive FAST down there). Was fun as hell.

Planned to do it again a year later, saved up and everything but COVID hit the month before we were supposed to go.

    i can't because

    • i was supposed to go with a friend (cheaper + i cant drive 4-8h every day for a week or 2) and finding 2-3 weeks off in same time is very very difficult
    • my international drivers license is expiring this year (needed for Albania and North Macedonia ) which means i would have to spend a LOT of money because im polish citizen living in Germany... (stuff gets even more complicated...)

I guess that's true. For me, at least for now, I think my days of fixing and driving beaters is over. At some point, you just want something that's reliable, not a money pit, and doesn't constantly need repair.

I had $300 into the car, including a new battery. Another $100 in parts, labor was my own so just time invested on weekends, and it is still one of the most reliable cars I've had in a while.

Feels weird saying that about a Grand Am, but it starts when its 40 below, it runs amazing, and I have friends with newer cars that have more problems.

I don't daily drive it anymore as I have something newer but its always there ready to go lol don't necessarily need to spend a bunch of money or buy a newer car for reliability.

I must agree that I've been lucky with some of my car purchases, I know friends of mine have bought cars for a few thousand that ended up being bigger piles of crap. :D

I think my ability to fix them helps a lot, especially using parts from RockAuto, but I know as I get older I have grown tired of putting time into things to make them reliable, which is why I appreciate my current car, just a plane jane Impala that already had a rebuilt transmission, new tires, and all the other little things done before I got it. Been nice to not have to mess around with it and just be able to drive without worry. Especially since my new place has no garage, rolling around in the driveway isn't fun lol
