    @yoursunny’s mistake was the shows he watched - had he gone back a few years, he would have discovered a show where tune after time the murderer commits what they believe to be the perfect murder only to be undone by a bumbling unassuming detective who unravels their cast-iron alibi to point the finger beyond doubt.     I never received any notifications prior to shutting down my service. I opened a support ticket, and they still didn't mention they're shutting down the company!
    I only read it when I searched this forum.

    Not acceptable at all. They should have given me time to migrate out my data, and setup a VPS somewhere else.
    I've lost my data, and my service was down for a couple of days.

    If they're shutting down the company, they should do it responsibly.

    Well, he send one email, not 20, he should likely should have spammed everyone like @Francisco did.

    Even then duh, if your email provider classifies that email as spam or blocks it, no chance.
