  • MOARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • Thanks for @VirMach for running this happy(insane and sometimes sad) sales!

  • Although I didn't get the last one, but thanks to @VirMach for the excellent flash sale

  • Thank you @VirMach for the great BF deals

  • Had the 8.88 in my cart but lost it on the way out...
But got the 9.88 So not complaining 😏

  • I hate you

    Thanks @VirMach!

Congrats to whoever that got it :) Seems like someone's script is insane enough, haven't been snatching deals for a while and now I can see how crazy everyone is, will step up my game next time

@FAT32 I will pay for your script if you can beat the bots, thanks again for running your site.

I personally think you don't have a big disadvantage compared to a single bot/script. The problem is when scripters run 10, 20, 30, maybe even a hundred instances. They aren't necessarily faster than humans but they have a lot more chances.

Ya, based on sources someone got 2 on 2 different accounts, I never know the competition is so fierce nowadays :joy:

Thanks as always VirMach, looking forward to next year. Disappointed though... all 3 of the last deal were kind of crazy slow checkout page.

On our end it basically ended up going something like: 2 sold, 6 sold, sold out. On pretty much all of them, not just the last one, and some of these had 50+ quantity (which is a lot, remember these are one specific node per offer so we can't do something like 100-200 quantity for most nodes unless they're fully empty.)

I know. Thanks for the great offer. For me, it's an event on my calendar... buying VPS from VirMach on black Friday. I'm particularly proud of myself for witnessing the final few deals.

Though I didn't get any of the last 3 deals, still feel happy for some strange reasons.

Stay safe VirMach and let's make this a lot better next year!

PS: All I want for Saint Nicholas' day is Ubuntu server 20.04... that's all. Can you make that happen? :)
PS2: FAT32, FrankZ and others, you rock!
PS3: For all the haters, here's your one finger salute. VirMach is still the best! LOL

I don't use scripts and never managed to snag any of the insane last deals from virmach over the past few years. I think the competition has always been that fierce, especially since they can run the same scripts every year.

But I still think its humanly possible to win. It's hard for me because I'm in asia I guess?

Order: 1891369073, for $9.88 not showing up in the client area, but saw being paid. Hopefully went through

It's gone. you didn't get it. The bots are faster than all of us. if you didn't get a mail, didn't see it added to your "services" you didn't get it.

I am in Asia too, but I managed to snatch the GreenCloud 8888 SG VPS via hand (10 quantity only). What I think is anything that can be written in bot will have bot.

The difference is there's a little bit higher barrier to entry for other providers as you never know when a provider may launch insane deals. The scripters know about virmach and are ready for virmach's deals every year.

(I also managed to snag some of the insane deals from the BF megathread, probably because people didn't bother to script those or they felt the resale value would be less? Who knows?)

@Virmach did a lot of improvements on the hardware side as one can see.

I only got logged out once from their site since the deal started.
Last year was a different story. Had to re-login with multiple captcha each time I visit their site and ordering was a pain ( not just the last few deals).

I didn't manage to get any of these crazy VirMach deals, but I did get a deal with another provider in the BF megathread that only had three in stock ($199/year for a dedicated server with E3-1230 v1, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD) so I think you're right that people are just using bots for VirMach. Or maybe the resale value on dedis is lower?

@VirMach any updates on my VPS? It supposed to have 6GB but has much less. It is less attractive with 2.75GB at that price :(

I do think I got to this one but I found out the issue and looking out for these tickets still. Let me know your ticket IDs if they're still not resolved.

When I will get a response on my ticket #848159 created on 1st December? and When VPS should be given to my account for paid invoice #1341328?

    Eventually.

But you may not like the response that you get. :)

It does not matter. If they don't provide a response to a ticket and don't care about customer service then at least they give me back my money. Otherway they have to work around it. Service or Return money. But completely ignoring customer issues and holding their money is not a solution. I will observe more several days.

I haven't been following this but most people in any situation involving not receiving a service or a refund are those stuck in manual review, mainly for having multiple accounts. That queue will be done after almost everything else so it will definitely be the longest wait.

Dear @VirMach, You may own the service and power of it. But I am not sure where you getting this idea from "I have multiple accounts and putting on hold for a longer period of time to fix your system side issue and applying a random blame on customer side instead of actually not looking into the problem and not actually checking the issue raised on ticket 933621 and 848159 "? I have one account and have been using it on your system for the past 2 years for all my orders.

I also contacted your support team / you in ticket #93362 as I was having problem with payment I made with card and being charged and canceled my order with a large number of peauthorized payments of $13.92 which labeled as going to be settled on 7th December, means merchant Virmach Going to take this money once settled, that's what my card provider informed me. I have never seen that big amount of preauthorized payment to check a card balance. That amount was not for a VPS and there has been no VPS on that period of time with that price. Unless its system error on Virmach side to charge extras.

Anyway, according to your suggestion, Preauthorized payment will get return and won't be taken by Virmach so I am waiting for that date to come. Then again for new order alternative payment, I have been proposed to load up the balance first invoice #1341339, regenerate invoice and pay for that regenerated invoice #1341328.

Which I did, Paypal trx ID: 1AS88310CK155933N and your system canceled that order (BF-SPECIAL-2021
GlassEnormous-VM #632689) but received and took my balance payment, after this issue informing again with ticket #848159, you / your person soheil closed that ticket #933621 without any further response or any sort of follow up.

And it has been 3 days I have an open ticket #848159 without any further follow up and posted 3 times here about it just to get your attention with a response, " It will take longer than excepted because I suspect you have multiple accounts".

I didn't ask for a rocket to mars, all I asked for was a service which advertised. But if it is not what you plan to provide to me as a customer, then kindly return me whats rightful to mine, I will be looking forward to either of them. Thanks.

I wanted to do a bit of a twist with the buses this year and show different interesting places in the world. It was fun finding them, although a lot of places don't number their buses/routes as was required to match the page numbers.

If you had gotten the $8.88, it would have been great, you deserved one.

second this  do you plan for an encore?

No encore. maybe when their Ryzen servers are up they'll run some special... or who knows, maybe flash sale then. But no encore.

If you're new to this, get ready for 10 more pages of people coming here to complain about how they got this in their cart, got charged and never received something ( usually the last few deals) they'll try to guilt him into giving them what they claim to have "paid for". it usually ends up being bogus (99% of the time). Doesn't work on him. LOL

As long as it still shows pending, they haven't taken your money yet. Your ticket was closed and your request was fulfilled. In other words, they probably cancelled your entire order and won't be taking your money. So wait a few days and that pending charge will disappear automatically.
