Weebs should help each other.

I get a lot of the classics from BakaBT.me, but I can’t see how to invite from there so you can probably just sign up. I grab the high quality stuff from Nyya.si, no signup needed.
Mecha huh... That reminds me of a visual novel called Muv-Luv, you may have heard about it.
I enjoyed it quite a bit myself.
It has two parts, "Extra" and "Unlimited".
In Extra (first part of the story), it starts out as some light-hearted high school rom-com, then in second part (Unlimited) it becomes full blown mecha fights.
There's a sequel (Muv-Luv Alternative) which is also all about mechas.
That's the spirit! We're all comrades here!
Noriko!
Gunbuster debuts!
Suuuppaa Lightening Kiiiiiick!
Buuuussta Beeeeeaaaammooooo
Hommmmming Laaaay-zer!
Buuuussta Missile!
Buuuussta Sheildo!
Ahem, excuse me, little over-excited there.
I think BakaBT switched to invite only a long time ago...
I have both in my gigantic pile of PS Vita games. Alternative is allegedly fucking brutal.
I feel like as a weeb I should find and watch all of those...
Yeah, just checked it's invite via IRC interview only.
IRC interview? Interesting...
I played them on PC (with +18 extra sauce, hehe)
God, Alternative was brutal. The scene where certain someone's head gets eaten by a BETA is engraved on my mind...
Used too be all the rage for the good torrent sites, didn't it. I seem to remember WhatCD did them before they went under.
Hearing "interview" makes me scared for some reason...
I'd rather use Nyaa.si anyway. It has everything I need, whether it's visual novels or anime...
No, no, you don't need to watch everything.
You just need to watch what you like.
That's for sure. But I'd like to at least try some of the almighty Nekki-chan's favorites...
@raindog308
congrats
That whole Alternative timeline is horrific. I don't know exactly what the scene is, but I know it's heavily censored on Vita.
Then try, it is good, although I haven't watched it.

I mean now that I've gotten my precious Chrunchyroll sub gift from Nekki-chan, there's no need for torrenting...

(Seriously thou, arigato Nekki-chan! That was actually my first premium sub)
Nice @Murv! I'm using a CR sub from someone else, the guy simply gave me his password on Reddit and it still works, it's awesome. You can also try Funimation, although they are kinda trash.
Oh yeah horrific... I literally hanged for a few minutes seeing that scene (it was Marimo's scene).
That scene is quite infamous, Google "Muvluv Alternative Chomp" (Warning: not for the faint-hearted)
Basically comes down to who's got what you need. I flit between Crunchyroll, Funimation and HiDive based on what I want to watch, with all my favourites living on my Plex server.
I remember another anime streaming site called VRV. Chrunchyroll, HiDive and Funimation were all part of it, but for some reason HiDive and Funimation decided to drop out...
Sony own both Funimation and Crunchyroll, so I think a unified service is coming. HiDive really has some interesting niche stuff (i.e. Getter Robo Arc) so not sure how long they'll last.
By the way, seems like I could finally hijack the BF/CM thread for my weeb stuff. (Albeit a bit late)

This is victory comrades! VICTORY!!
O shit, the record breaking thread went weeb!
SERVERS, SERVERS, VPS, VPS, CHARGEBACK, CHARGEBACK, DOUBLE BANDWITH!
