What do you guys use these for? Other than idling, the only thing I can think of is a proxy. But even then I'd rather go for a $12/yr VPS that actually has other uses.

  • NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.. i got the coupon, but then i lost it because i had to type that hostname thingy :(

  • You can probably run a static site (blog, whatever) from that VPS if you put it behind Cloudflare.

I was looking for some AMD Ryzen 9 5950X with BGP Session.

Each with 128G RAM, 4.0 NVMe, 1-10 Gbps BW.

  • you can use it for tiny projects and testing too, and it allows you to buy something without feeling any regrets about panic buying later bcoz its just a dollar :)

I got my first dollar vps last year from wishosting and it allowed me to test stuff out before buying bigger vps. so, its a good buy for newbies who are afraid of getting scammed.

These servers have a pair of 2TB WD Enterprise 7200RPM drives, not sure why they'd be running so slow for ya. If you still have problems please submit a ticket and we can try swapping the drives or moving you to a different node.
