For anyone that has been scammed by Josh Prout, please contact the Houston DA - Valerie Turner (713) 274-5585. He goes to trial July 2024 for Felony 1 and is facing 90 years in prison. Let the DA know what your story is. Let's make sure he can't do this again.
There is no justice in Houston. Nobody will bother after so many years of his scamming. It's gotten to the point we're just laughing at his new adventures. What's the point when he gets less than a year if even that.
Whichever judge let the guy run around this long can go fuck him/herself.
There's like 10 threads of his individual scams, and more in reddit and WHT. Hes done it all from colocation scams, to crypto hardware scams, to facebook marketplace scams, to running an online PC shop scams. If you want someone to list all his past stuff, you need to pay for anyone to bother list them all.

Depends on the judge and jury . Some people get 2-3 years in prison for murder and some people get 40 years in prison for weed. This is due to the attitude of the judge or the ability of the prosecutor to present certain charges based off of the political and cultural ideas of jury's in some places(for example in a lot of places prosecutors won't add any drug charges to a jury trial as the jury may nullify the defendant of all charges even the non drug charges if they view to idea of sending someone to prison over a little bit of weed a really bad idea)
