@ezeth you should probably refund him. If he's angry enough to demand a refund over a few hours of downtime on a 50c service, you won't be getting a conversion.

I'm going to have to migrate some of you to another system. Anyone wants to get moved to my private box with NVMe 4.0 samsung enterprise ssd, EPYC cpu, 3200MHz DDR4?

It's not a US server though.

There's a bug in the kernel that's causing stability issues. It can't use cached ram resulting in there being over 100GB available that it cannot use, instead it runs OOM..

  • adlyadly Veteran

@ezeth what location and is the option open for those who got VPS for donation?

Sure anyone can get it. It would be Stockholm from the premium brand
    https://hostup.org/vps

Alternatively I'm looking into renting a Ryzen VPS from the datacenter and just putting some of you on there. You would then have the same IPs etc https://my2.dataideas.com/store/amd-ryzen-kvm-vps-dedicated-cpu

Stockholm is better for me provided deal of 12 months free from setup and similar specs is honoured. No problem with IP changes and recreating the VM as I haven't put anything I'd miss on there yet.

    Edit: and IPv6 is provided.

I can even migrate the whole VM. It would be the same prices. IPv4/IPv6 is there

Sure - if that's fine with it being one of the donation services - my VPS ID is 502. Feel free to move it and PM or email me the new details.
