Hey guys, sorry for the late reply.

nice deal but signing up first thing a bit odd

Yeah, that took me from a 'maybe, even though I have no use in mind' to 'nah'. Otherwise, $24/yr is a great price for a Windows VPS with unmetered 10Gbps (in the US) or 1Gbps (UK or US) ;).

Personally, I don't really see anything wrong with signing up first, the same order process applied to every other hosts that's not using WHMCS. Would it be possible for me to ask why it's a decisive factor that makes you guys not signing up for a host?

We did it on purpose as now there is one less step on the checkout phase, it just smoothen the overall user experience and you guys get to check out our panel first ;). You can always request for an account deletion in case you don't want your information on our system, this has been mentioned on our privacy policy page: https://hyonix.com/privacy#9

Windows key, 10gbs & 50G disk for 24/y! why not?

Thanks you for giving us a try ;) Let me know if you have any questions.

@smaart said: Wish for more cpu core and ram yearly deals

The offer only applied to our entry package to take a part in the event and give back to the community. We actually don't have any profit on those sales (if not losses) which is why the quantity is extremely limited, our regular sales revenue can cover the cost and make things sustainable in the long run :D

The offer is out of stock at the moment, thank you for all the support guys!

If you guys have any questions, please open up a ticket and we will get it sorted ;)

    Thanked by 2Chronic user123

That's bad. You should buy 10-20 more servers for us 😃😃😃👍👍👍

Maybe I will be more lucky next time, when will not be any limited quantity, just for everyone.

you should wait until next year , we will do at least one upload credit promo , maybe will be the last one or maybe not.

You own the business? You're doing it wrong.

You are wrong. How owner run his business is business of owner :). If he like it and he is happy that enough.

  • Any UK deals left?

Find someone willing to transfer their $17/year HostHatch storage VPS, I guess. I think HostHatch charge a transfer fee though.

Sorry I haven't had time to write this earlier and schedule it to be posted right after the sale is over, but there's a lot of things that I want to talk about so it is better for me to spend more time to prepare.

First thing first, I want to thank every providers that supported this flash deal and thanks for trusting me. Some of the deals are eye-opening, they are the craziest that I have ever seen. In this challenging time, you guys are still being supportive to bring the best deals to celebrate Black Friday / Cyber Monday. Without all the deals that filled up this 4 days, this event can never happen.

Besides providers, I also want to specifically thanks to 3 other admins/mods: @Jord, @raindog308 and @jbiloh for helping out when needed or when I was asleep. Also thanks to the other mods that are behind the scenes who clean up the spam in LET during this event.

A community without anyone is not a community. I would like to also say thanks to some of the community members here that I briefly remembered who supported me during the whole event (in alphabetical order):

    @Andrews @anon667 @brueggus @default @evanwalters @Falzo @Ganonk @hotsnow @imok @JabJab @MissFortune @Neoon @pullangcubo @refik @sgno1 @swat4 @thedp @user123 @vyas11 @webcraft @yoursunny @zomby1

    You guys are awesome.

This thread has also became the top 5 in LET based on the number of views

    1. Kimsufi.... 4.99 euro dedicated server (May 2014 - 341k)
    2. 1,99€ dedicated server ? (Aug 2014 - 259k)
    3. Dedicated Server starting at 2.99 EUR / month (Jul 2013 - 225k)
    4. BLACK FRIDAY / CYBER MONDAY OFFICIAL MEGATHREAD + FLASH DEALS ⚡ [2020: YEAR OF CHAOS EDITION] (Nov 2020 - 222k)

Unfortunately, it is 3k less than the 3rd place. (Maybe you guys can help me visit this thread a bit more to bring it up to the top 3?) Although it is not the highest number of views, but I really appreciate the supports from people all around the world. Some of you stayed up very late, having very little sleep just like me.

    Little rant here:

I know some of you guys might be unhappy that the quantity is very limited or why I don't release them earlier etc. But there's lots of things that I have to take into consideration to schedule the deals.

For provider side, I allow providers to choose the time preference that they want (for example, during business hours so they can manually review all orders). I also have to balance the deals such that 2 very similar deals (location, memory, etc) shouldn't be back to back as it will increase the competition between providers. I also cannot tell who are the providers that are joining the flash deals beforehand because in that case most people will just wait for the flash deal instead of purchasing their usual deals.

For consumer side, I want people from different timezones to be able to get some of the greatest deals, so if there's multiple of the similar deal, it will usually be separated into multiple timezones to allow people around the globe to have a chance to get them. To ensure there's no issue, all the links and coupon codes are visited and checked at least 3-5 times before it was posted.

Another complain that I got is why the deals are not attractive, but you have to understand that I cannot force or ask all providers to only send me their greatest / unsustainable deals, neither I can deny any of the unattractive deals. That's not how it works.

Based on all the above, I am not exaggerating the fact that I spent on average 30 minutes or more on each deal to prepare because there's too many factors to take into consideration. Different providers also have different styles of sending in their deals and mostly don't have the location, so I have to find it manually on their websites, then format it in a general way. This is still not counting some errors that might happen which need to be futher clarify with the providers.

The fact that I sleep average 3 hours per day over the past week is also not exaggerated. I have to ensure things go smoothly and to reply to the providers as soon as possible because it is hard to predict when a provider is free, liaising with hundred of providers are not easy. I also took my annual leave on Black Friday and Cyber Monday for no other reason than trying to ensure this event can run smoothly.

In short, there's lots of considerations that I have to put in to allow a win-win situation for both the providers and consumers, and it would be great if some of the people who complained can understand my difficulties.

    Enough ranting.

Not to pick sides, but to name a few of the providers that I personally think has supported this event a lot not only in terms of the deals but the interactions with the people in this thread (in no particular order).

@terrahost - Their €12/yr dedi is definetely one of the best, if not the best deal throughout the whole event, no one in the world will sell a dedicated server at this price with i5 CPU! This is also one of the biggest surprise for me because it is never mentioned previously and they are just so supportive to provide this deal. People went crazy, even glitched the system to go through 2 orders. Moreover, the €14/m i5 dedi is also very worth it, they even added 16 of them splitted into 4 days so everyone have a chance to get them.

@cociu - He is a legend, period. €1/yr VPS with 6969MB RAM and stock count of 30!? Who in their right mind will provide such a great deal? Ya only cociu with his crazy mind, but I am not complaining though :joy: Not to mention other legendary deals that cociu has added in the process: €8.88/yr 2GB VPS, 3.6TB Storage for €1/TB/m, €1.2/yr 512MB VPS... all of these are not pre-planned and I really enjoyed the moment where a provider join the fun together.

@Cam - I have to thank Cam for supporting this thread when I was having troubles with my bot and other LET technical issues, he added lots of unplanned deals in the thread to entertain others while I was busy fixing the bot issues. This allow us more time to prepare without feeling too stressful. Not only that, their deals are really really special, I have seen at least 20 of $1/yr NAT VPS, 20 of $6/yr VPS (with IPv4 - UK / SG) and a lot of other deals that you will really just want to buy it :joy:, thumbs up for willing to provide so many of those zero profit deals.

@hyperexpert - They might be less known in LET but they are actually doing pretty well (they even sell their merch!). The $1/yr VPS is definetely another legendary deal throughout our whole event. You might be unhappy that there's only very few of those machines, but I believe he contributed at least 20 x $1/yr VPS among LEB and LET. Not only that, he generously offered 2 more $1/yr VPS yesterday for the last slot (It was previously 4, but added to 6) due to the overwhelming support and he wants to make everyone happier :)

@SpartanHost - This is the provider that's in the low profile although they provide a great, reliable and stable services. They don't do much promotions to ensure they are sustainable, so this crazy deal is definetely something very rare. I have been disturbing him for a few times to make a deal for our event and finally he send in the deal :) - They also made more deals available after the overwhelming responses after the first deal, this is another example of a generous provider. I have also seen quite a lot of people that are very happy with the performance and the demands are so high that it crashed their billing server in the last deal.

@DataIdeas-Josh - I feel I am the bad guy here because at first he told me that it will only be $0.5/m first month off for the Ryzen VPS, but I pushed him a bit and asked for recurring discount and finally he agreed :joy:. The deal is most likely below the cost price so for the ones who got it you better treasure it properly.

@MrRadic - You might think that the price for their dedicated server is high, but they rarely offer special deals for his dedicated servers, at least not in the public! However, they still supported us and provided quality and premium dedicated servers in New York City at a low price.

To not make this reply too long (also partly because I am tired), thanks to all the providers who supported this event (in alphabetical order):

    @17brownj @1gservers @Abdullah7310 @AK_KWH @AlbaHost @alwyzon @anyNode @BharatB @Cam @Cloudcone @Clouvider @cociu @DataIdeas-Josh @dustinc @Ernie @exception0x876 @feezioxiii @freerangecloud @gleert @GM5 @Hostigger @hostnamaste @HostSailor @hotlineservers @hyperexpert @Ian_Dot_Tech @Ikoula @Intelpentium0 @jenok @John_M @jonathanspw @key900 @Lampard @LiteServer @Lyphiard @Mario-SF @MaxKVM @MrRadic @pakhost @qba82 @rajat @randvegeta @RIYAD @serveria_com @SGraf @SpartanHost @SSDBlaze @SSDNodes @terrahost @time4vps @toshost @ViridWeb @virtono @VPSSLIM @vserversite @WebProject @WiredBlade @WSCallum @XiNiX

I hope you will not be unhappy if I didn't mentioned you specifically, but I remember every one of the providers who supported this event (after looking at the Excel sheet for the whole week).

In addition to that, special shout out to NexusBytes @seriesn for providing me a temporary VPS for a few days during the event after having much issues with my current provider (due to some network issue, which caused the bot constantly failed to post deals properly).

To end this post, I would like to thanks again to all the providers, community members, lurkers, visitors who joined this event to make this event a success. Thanks to the providers for providing services that has negative to very low profit margin for the happiness and benefits of others.

This is my way to contribute back to the community and I strongly believe that it is more blessed to give than to receive. So for the lurkers out there, if you got the deals that you liked a lot, at least contribute back to the community by participating in the discussion (most of the time it is free to post a comment).

I might need some time to rest before I can be active again, but over the last 4 days of flash sales I am pretty happy (but also very exhausted and tired) to see that you guys enjoyed it. This year has been a mess, just like the theme of this thread, hope that 2021 can be a better year for all of us.

That's all folks, wish that people who stayed up late the nights during this event can also have a good rest.

    Regards,
    FAT32

@FAT32 said: @Cam - I have to thank Cam for supporting this thread when I was having troubles with my bot and other LET technical issues, he added lots of unplanned deals in the thread to entertain others while I was busy fixing the bot issues. This allow us more time to prepare without feeling too stressful. Not only that, their deals are really really special, I have seen at least 20 of $1/yr NAT VPS, 20 of $6/yr VPS (with IPv4 - UK / SG) and a lot of other deals that you will really just want to buy it , thumbs up for willing to provide so many of those zero profit deals.

<3 I think this was my favorite Black Friday! Thanks, @FAT32 for putting all of this together! Even though the hiccups, you had, you still managed to pull off an amazing event, Your hard work has not gone unnoticed.

  • @FAT32 you did an amzing job!

  • Thanks, @FAT32.

FAT32 is just a piece of work - being one of the key contributors of the community and playing a major role behind the success of this event.

I don't know how he does it, sacrificing sleep and whatever else, but yeah, very well executed 👍🏼

  • @FAT32 said: @terrahost - Their €12/yr dedi is definetely one of the best, if not the best deal throughout the whole event, no one in the world will sell a dedicated server at this price with i5 CPU!

Thank you again @terrahost for this. Also @FAT32 efforts and dedication of people like you makes this place what it is. Amazing deals and this great community made this Blackfriday and CyberMonday even better.

  • thanks @FAT32 - you seriously are great guy and enrichment to this community. @jbiloh can consider himself very lucky to have you in the first and even do all that stuff so selflessly.

and don't let people get into your mind if ever they dare to p*ss on your parade (me included ofc ;-))

Thanks @FAT32, you did a really impressive job in this event. I think i have seen such a perfectly managed event for the first time officially by LET. Another thing that was surprising was that you always responded quickly, you did a great contribution to this community.
