thanks but i do not have more money am from Asia where monthly income is 150$ by >average , just saw that 15$ deal thought its good for website . but i was not aware that >he said out of stock somewhere in comments am still not sure on which page and when >he have said that. i paid via paypal let see if they can refund or i will request paypal to >get me refund because its more like punnzy scheme other hosting providers are good >who maintain stock record on their end u go to their site it say stock/out of stock it their >end but here we had another story deposit and then open ticket for VPS :( total unfair , >also i would say Lowendtalk should update their terms and conditions and should ban >companies who try to involve in such activities. i mean what it take to update your main >post if its out of stock just add Out of stock or remove them also if you are posting new >offers why post offers in comments why not just add it to main post ! pretty simple thing >am so sad of this company lets hope they refund

Just shut up, honestly. (pardon my language, I really can't take it anymore)
Don't buy stuff you can't afford or keep track of, it's that simple.
Every three post it's someone whining about his "precious money" (mostly with REPLY TO MY TICKET IN ONE MINUTE #321803721), whereas it's obvious that this isn't something you put alot of claims on.
Then the excuses such as "I can't speak English." / "I was in bad timezone!!" / "I couldn't get the absolute best deal for $11!!!!", and so on come in. Everything is stated clearly at the beginning. Learn the language, learn to read and don't perform actions you're not capable of. This is something you should get a grasp on in life.
No fault on Hosthatchs side here. They do an incredible job in still answering 95% of every dumb question posted for the 10th time in this thread.

Sorry again, I needed to say that.

The problem is : let's say I am sleeping and hope that the guys answer to my ticket. On the next morning I check and nothing happen. Well you need to wait 2-3 days for an reply. The problem is if you or the support man don't know what you saying you need to wait one more 2-3 days that's shit

  • I think the biggest problem is here the guys from hosthatch don't have enough employees come on guys I will help you to answer the tickets just ping me l.

  • Well I obviously reply in minutes and make the customer happy again - Make hosthatch great again ^^

  • @zeli said: chmod a+r .

    There you go.

You should have done this few days ago, the thread would have been way more readable without all the unneeded questions and tickets numbers!

Why did you wait so long?

  • @zeli said:
Looks like people don't have read permissions on this thread:

Haha, good sense of humour :-D

You also can order a VM at the normal price on their website. Support might be faster, and it will be delivered faster.

Honestly I think the support is the same ^^ the guys need more employees for sure. One man can't handle 1000 of Tickets obviously you needed minimum 10 or 15 guys

I don’t think this is related to support at all.

We had a number of people send us tickets with questions like “can I customise this deal in X way” or “can you remove bandwidth and give me more CPU” or “are these KVM and what is the refund policy” etc. Those types of tickets will likely will get responded in 2-3 days either way - and sorry if you feel bad for missing a good deal just because we didn’t answer your ticket full of questions that are already and answered here. Don’t take your anger of missing out on us though.

    We employ 5 people full-time and 2 part-time.

Sorry you missed out on some good deals. I won’t be crying a river for missing a brilliant customer like you though.

    It seems like you're right:

@CjayVPS is obviously looking for a job for next BF

  • @CjayVPS said:

    he obviously did already.

still because everyone is a cheapskate and does not want to pay much money, there has to be some sacrifice. if that means I have to wait one or two weeks now to get all stuf sorted, I'd consider this totally fine - because I took the time to read especially through all the posts @hosthatch did in here.

btw. if you click on the name tag you are lead to his profile, where you can easily check only his comment history and therefore simply find the announcement, as well as the deals and the closing of all offers etc. - no need to crawl through 40 pages at all.

It's very strange that this year it seems like many people have trouble reading.

Edit: maybe not so strange - https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20200622-the-long-term-effects-of-covid-19-infection
Or could it be that @jbiloh efforts brought a lot of newbies here while before most people were more invested in the community and kinda knew what to expect and how to grab a decent deal?

You are saying "support" but do you mean technical support or do you mean sales questions?

If your VPS is down due to some problem that is not your own fault and you require technical support, then fair enough to expect a reply inside 3 days so that you don't lose millions.

If you are asking sales questions, that is different. There should be no reason to raise tickets about BF sales because it was all explained. If your decision on whether to purchase depended on an answer to something already explained or wanting exceptions, modifications, etc. then you deserve to miss out - no sympathy. If people did not ask those dumb questions the queue would not be as long.

I did not offend you now why do you say that I am a bad customer I only give tips and did not want to piss you off.

Why do you have to be so stuck-up ?

  • @pbx said: brought a lot of newbies here while before most people were more invested in the community and kinda knew what to expect

Don't forget being stuck at home and not having other avenues to entertain oneself results in a much higher DQ (drama quotient) here as well. It's been a hard year all round and most providers still did what they could (despite a reasonable shortage of parts/shipments etc.).

All in all, it's not been as bad as it could have been under the circumstances.

This really has been the best thread overall for consistent offers - if you blindly clicked on any offer here you still wouldn't be disappointed in terms of what it delivered.

Hmm after snagging a 10tb I'm guessing I'm having bread for Christmas instead of toast :dizzy:

A toast is just a roasted bread isn't it? To me it makes no difference.

Yes, toast is roasted bread :) tastes better with a Toasthatch 10TB service though

I think this could be a reason. This community was a tightly-knit group who knew their stuff or if they didn't know - they learnt over time - coz we were in for the long haul - rather than just grab a promo code. As the crowd went bigger and bigger, obviously a percentage of people who are just "looking for a deal" poured in. I mean we all are looking for a bargain - which is why this community - but I hope you get my drift.

If you use the Konami code on the ticket page, your VPS is automatically provisioned - but don't abuse the rate limit - or your account will be deactivated B)

Does anyone have a "howto" connect hdd vps to nvme vps in one network?

    https://www.tecmint.com/install-nfs-server-on-centos-8/

Make sure to use the private IPs on interface eth1 for NFS. Make sure you do not expose your NFS server over eth0 to the internet.

Why not? You can secure it with passwords and ip address restriction.
