  • @hosthatch one question please how many employees do you have that work on the tickets ? The problem is if some employee answer to the ticket we need to wait 2 days for the next answer that's very long.

Does anyone have a "howto" connect hdd vps to nvme vps in one network?

    https://www.tecmint.com/install-nfs-server-on-centos-8/

Make sure to use the private IPs on interface eth1 for NFS. Make sure you do not expose your NFS server over eth0 to the internet.

  • What a f****ng thread guys... Sickest BF deals on lowendtalk that I've ever participated in. Thanks @hosthatch for the epic deals. See you again next BF <3

This was answered earlier in the thread. Around 10 iirc.

  • tomletomle Member, LIR

Got the three new locations bundle but also got the BF deal in Sydney, so going to have two machines there now...
That makes it 9 VPS with HostHatch. Will need to take a second look at this.

  • Is it really fast and WORTH it when nextcloud on nvme but hdd storage from another vps added to nvme vps? someone experienced it?

For the love of god, why doesn’t anybody read anything?

The best thing is that anyone who updates their ticket goes to the back of the queue for provisioning. I bet people who do not read stuff here also do not read the email saying "don't ask about a detailed ETA". So there's probably some degree of justice even if we don't see it.

the team is certainly working really hard to provide response to every single request. however, we also did receive numerous of custom requests which we may require time to provide response accordingly, and if you aren't getting response, we kindly seek your help not to create multiple tickets for the same issue/concern/request as this may certainly delay the response which you may require. thank you.

    Referring to

@hosthatch said: Yes, I got that part....it will be somewhere in the range of 168 business hours (counting only business days, so 7), counting from the last "when will this order be provisioned" or "please do this ASAP!!!!" ticket bump.

yes, my comment did not refer to you. more so, a general comments for our lovely customers, so that we may attend to each of the requests as soon as possible :)

  • Having an issue about funds not being credited. Could you check #104578, please?

as for all other people around here seeking attention with posting their ticket number or bothering Hosthatch staff with DMs: f*cking get in line.
bumping and being impatient does help no one as it simply creates more work and therefore more waiting time.

I'm up to 7 in Australia, various cities and providers. Will start consolidating.

Yeah editing the OP is a must as it can be misleading.
Check past messages from @hosthatch, it seems like some deals are still available, if that's the case you could grab one and pay using your balance. For example: https://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/comment/3167768/#Comment_3167768

  • maybe some of the mods can change the thread title accordingly to make it clear that this sale is over... @FAT32 @Jord @hzr

No one put a gun to your head and asked you to place an order. You are required to do your own due diligence and assume responsibility for your voluntary actions.

Oh, and there is only a 4h window within which posts can be edited by OP.

thanks but i do not have more money am from Asia where monthly income is 150$ by average , just saw that 15$ deal thought its good for website . but i was not aware that he said out of stock somewhere in comments am still not sure on which page and when he have said that. i paid via paypal let see if they can refund or i will request paypal to get me refund because its more like punnzy scheme other hosting providers are good who maintain stock record on their end u go to their site it say stock/out of stock it their end but here we had another story deposit and then open ticket for VPS :( total unfair , also i would say Lowendtalk should update their terms and conditions and should ban companies who try to involve in such activities. i mean what it take to update your main post if its out of stock just add Out of stock or remove them also if you are posting new offers why post offers in comments why not just add it to main post ! pretty simple thing am so sad of this company lets hope they refund

@hosthatch said: Please keep an eye on this thread. We will update as stock in some locations go out. Any orders made after the timestamp of my post saying we are out of stock here will not be provisioned, and your only option will be to change to something else.

It is clear from this paragraph that the stock announcement would be in the thread and there would be a specific post about it.

As mentioned, it is not possible to edit the original post after 4 hours, so that would require a moderator to do something (in which case time stamps, giving people enough notice, etc. becomes difficult to manage). Probably some learning here for next year (if Abdullah ever recovers enough to do this again) but certainly the expectations were set in the first post for anyone who read it.

It fucking says FRIDAY on the topic itself. Does Friday mean "today" or something else entirely wherever you are from?

Also, it would be fun reading you whine about a failed paypal chargeback.

Do you know to read?... The subject is "Black Friday 2020"... I dont see any "We wait all year for people who want cheap servers and complain every second"... Dont blame @hosthatch because you CANT understand what flash deals are... I hope you get refund and get banned too.

There are many tickets / emails / PMs. Some people quoting this text that I wrote in the OP.

    > For existing customers:
    >
    > Thank you for being part of our family. If you see this thread a bit later or after some deals are out of stock, or you miss out a flash deal and that is exactly what you wanted for many years, please send me a PM and I will do my best.
    >

Please understand that I cannot reply to all the personal messages I am getting, it is humanly not possible. I will try to get back to most of the PMs and emails by tomorrow.

Please reach out to me in about 10 days if you are an old customer (>1 year) and if you need a plan from one of the original post that we actually make some little money on, and if we have available capacity and it is possible, I will see if I can set it up for you.

However, this does not apply for most of the flash deals and especially not the 10 TB storage plan. We do not make any money on them, and we've sold out all extra capacity we had.

Copy, will do :) Very generous of you!

Just shut up, honestly. (pardon my language, I really can't take it anymore)
Don't buy stuff you can't afford or keep track of, it's that simple.
Every three post it's someone whining about his "precious money" (mostly with REPLY TO MY TICKET IN ONE MINUTE #321803721), whereas it's obvious that this isn't something you put alot of claims on.
Then the excuses such as "I can't speak English." / "I was in bad timezone!!" / "I couldn't get the absolute best deal for $11!!!!", and so on come in. Everything is stated clearly at the beginning. Learn the language, learn to read and don't perform actions you're not capable of. This is something you should get a grasp on in life.
No fault on Hosthatchs side here. They do an incredible job in still answering 95% of every dumb question posted for the 10th time in this thread.

Sorry again, I needed to say that.
